I don't know the details of what took place with the lady that gave Kingsford a 1 star. However, she may need to check her records to see if her job was actually done by Kingsford. I say this because Kingsford installed a sunroom for me in 2011 and I was so pleased by the excellent job that they did. I loved their customer service. I was impressed from the beginning with the "no pressure" Salesman to the contractors who ultimately did the job. Everyone received high praise. I had zero complaints. I also found the owner to be a genuine and honest guy to deal with. Kingsford has always been nothing but awesome! The quality of work that they did and their willingness to work with me as a customer to make sure I was completely satisfied was refreshing. Recently ,I utilized them to install 7 of my remaining windows in my home. I previously had another company install four of them for me. I regret not calling Kingsford as they charged me less money to do The 7 windows and did a better job than that company. As expected, the contractors were very expedient, did quality work, cleaned up after themselves and were extremely polite. I can't wait to use Kingsford again for my next project!

Personally I feel better reading reviews that are submitted "after" the job has been completed for some time so I can evaluate the longevity of the work performed. Background: We had an older house with a seriously aging exterior. In preparation, I spent several weeks doing exhaustive research and conducting interviews with various window replacement companies in the Triangle area that would also capable of tackling the other jobs I needed completed. In the end we elected to go with Kingsford and we couldn't be happier. (FYI: also known as Kingsford Siding, Windows & Patio Rooms) Anyway,.. its now been well over 5 years since Kingsford completed a major renovation to the exterior of our house which included replacing all the windows with a high quality energy efficient models, removing and replaced all roofing material, repairing multiple areas where the sheathing had rotted as well as installing ridge vents. Removed and replaced all exterior trim fascia, freeze boards and soffits, then wrapped all the new fascia, freeze boards and existing brick moulding with aluminum to match the tan of the newly installed windows. Removed and replaced all areas of siding with *********** Lap Siding. Installed a fancy bead board ceiling on our front porch. Installed new roofing gutter system color matched to our new windows and aluminum trim wrap. ***** even suggested a total redesign to the exterior of a bay window on the front of our house which would include a copper roof. It looks awesome and greatly improved the homes curb appeal. Last, all the new siding and soffits were painted to match the rest of the house. As others have stated, each crew regardless of the job, cleaned the job site every night before leaving. NET: Years later, not a single problem of any kind! None! One of our biggest surprises was discovering how quiet our house was with the new windows (no outside noises coming in) not to mention being draft free and the drop in our utility bill. Highly recommend!
