My husband purchased me a used ***** Tahoe from Countryside Chevrolet in ********, ** on 9/5/2024. The vehicle had a failure on 10/4/24 and is not functioning. I notified the dealership and had my vehicle towed there at my expense. I spoke with the service department as well as the salesman that assisted with the purchase and was assured that it would be looked at and addressed. The vehicle has sat at the dealership for approximately 10 days with no diagnostic testing being done. I have called to follow up and am told each time that it is being worked in. I have lost trust that my vehicle will be repaired as needed and do not feel confident in their service. I have been without my vehicle and am about to make my first payment on a vehicle that is inoperable and not in my possession. I feel that this is bad business and could have easily been made right by the dealership. They have shown no sense of urgency or concern with getting my vehicle fixed and back to me.

    To whom it may concern:

Customer came in to purchase vehicle and was offered to purchase an extended service plan through out the process and signed the declined to purchase extended service plan and wanted to purchase the vehicle as is. The dealership service department has been very short handed. With out an appointment trying to work in vehicles dropped off has been very difficult.

I am concerned for my brother who is bedridden and has been homebound since 2019. I am POA and health Care POA for him. My brother has limited understanding and ability to hold on to details to be able to make major financial decision due to a stroke. His son on Nov. 29th 2022 secured a truck loan in and for his (son) benefit in my brother's name with the help of Countryside Chevrolet in ******** **. Countryside Chevrolet then sold the loan to Mountain ************* When I approached Countryside Chevrolet about the truck loan in my brother's name, they told me he was at dealership in car to agree and sign loan documents. I explained to them, I knew this to be untrue given he is homebound and bedridden for years. I obtained a copy of the loan documents from Mountain ************ as POA. Upon review of the loan documents, I realized his name has been forged to all documents by his ex-wife and son. As of the date of this complaint, I have not heard back from Countryside Chevrolet. However, they have been in contact with my brother's son to work on getting loan documents signed by my brother. My brother called me to let me know he would to go to dealership or ************ to sign loan documents. I don't feel the dealership is doing what is in the best interest of my brother - instead they are working to "save the $42,800.00 deal".

It response to the complaint about Countryside Chevrolet this couldn't be further from the truth.  The gentleman is fully aware of what is going on.  The gentleman would be happy to write you and tell you that.  The gentleman signed it himself and will state that.  The lady has gone as far as to hire individuals that came to his house and lied to him stating they are from Mountain Credit which he knew was a lie and told them to leave.  The gentleman wanted to buy his son a truck to do something nice for him.  These comments are slanderous and we will seek our council to notify the individual ************* that we will seek damages if this complaint is not withdrawn immediately.  Please also note he is removing this person from his Health POA in January 2023 because of mismanaged decisions.  I hope this clears up this very unfortunate lie about my company.

    Thank You
