I ordered a Shed from the company Sheds Direct. The Shed was delivered on 6/6/24 as the driver was leaving, my driveway was damaged and the color I was told I was receiving from the sales rep was completely different I reached out to the company to get a resolution and I was told to get quotes from 2 different companies to repair the driveway and I also reached out to the sales rep about the color. The quotes that I received were too high for the company. The ** ***** reached out and was willing to do the repairs himself and the sales rep said she will put in a work order to get the color redone with the color I requested The repair was not completed and was done poorly and I was told someone will be back on 7/3/24 and no one ever came I reached out to the ** on 7/19/24 and have not received a response from the company. The repair was done poorly and now has cracks and bumps and the foundation was never taken out. I would like my driveway to look the way it was before it was destroyed by the company Sheds Direct. I will never recommend anyone to this company and will also give bad reviews on my social media accounts I would like a discount for the purchase due to the color be incorrect and being informed incorrectly.Business response

The driveway was cracked from our truck driver drove the building and mule over the edge of the concrete. When ***** saw the pictures, he had not seen how it was possible to damage the concrete as bad as we did unless our mule had gotten underneath the concrete and lifted up. When he went on site, he quickly understood why the concrete broke. The ground had eroded underneath the concrete and there was ZERO foundation (packed dirt, gravel base, etc.) It was just hanging in the air with nothing underneath it. Also the driveway did not have any reinforcement (wire mesh, rebar, etc.). ***** also found air pockets in the concrete from where it was poured. (see pictures). Since he had already been on site, and purchased the materials, he told ********* that he would repair the driveway despite it breaking from shoddy construction. ***** added reinforcing steel and made the concrete much thicker on the edge like it should be. He also added an expansion joint which she is claiming is a crack.
The color on her building is correct. She ordered black paint with almond trim. ***** told her that the color was correct and she said it was too light and did not match her house. He asked her if she told the dealer what color her siding was and she said it was "tan" and did not specify what shade her siding was. We sent a work order tech out to paint her trim but it was the exact same color so she was unhappy with that. It was explained that if she wanted someone to paint the building a different color than she ordered, we could give her a quote, but we could not paint her building for free as she ordered it. (see attached picture).Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the job for the cement was done poorly. The cement needs to be sanded. The sales rep needs more training for the shed colors I was told that the almond was beige. The trimming on the shed looks white.Business response

I brought a 12x24 shed. Didn't notice it wasn't 12 wide until was building shelfs. It's 10 wide. Called, emailed, and messaged on Facebook for 2 months with no response. Dealt with Caleb and Jason l*****. Invoice even states 12 foot wide. And confirmed with them.Business response

Sheds Direct has been working with her for the last 60 days. I drove 3 hours to measure the shed for her. The shed measurements are to our specs. The outside dimensions of the shed measures 12 ft wide. We offered 3 options, to build her a bigger building; refund the money and we would pick up the building at no charge or a discount of $750. She would not accept any of these offers.

I am rejecting this response because:
I made a claim agains* *********. And the 750 was too low. The difference is 2054 dollars. We was asking for 1500 of that. Which seems fair. We spent alot of money on the flooring so the bigger shed isn't an option. It is also paid in full. Nothing says the specs expect invoice which states 12 wide from wall to wall.Initial Complaint

I purchased a shed from Sheds Direct (invoice # **********), which was delivered 3/14/2023. The shed roof was covered in snow when the shed was set in place. When the snow melted, there were approximately six shingles missing from the roof. On 3/15/2023 I sent Sheds Direct pictures of the roof and was told it would be fixed under the sheds warranty. A workorder was opened for the warranty repair that day, 3/15/2023. "Your work order has been received. We are sorry you are having difficulty with your building. Someone will be in contact with you soon to learn more about the issue and work to help facilitate a solution. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Support at 330-576-8311." No one contacted me. On 3/22/2023 I received an email that the work had been completed: "Your work order has been completed. Please let us know if everything has been resolved to your satisfaction. If you have any questions, please contact Customer Support at 330-576-8311." I called Customer Support on 3/23/2023 to tell them the work had not been completed, and they opened another workorder. Today is 5/20/2023. I have called Customer Support 3 times over a span of 8 weeks to get an update on the workorder and each time they say someone will contact me in the next two weeks to schedule the warranty repair. No one has ever called to schedule the warranty repair.Business response

Repairs were completed on Friday, May 26th 2023 by the builder. Pictures were submitted by the builder to our office as validation, so the building should be repaired per the customer's request. If the customer has any issues remaining, he can feel free to contact our main phone number, 828-212-1378, and speak with Emily. On behalf of Sheds Direct, we apologize for the inconvenience in getting the shingles repaired sooner, but hope the building is now in pristine condition.Customer response
