Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. I would like to address the situation regarding your drawings and clarify the process.
As discussed, the standard timeframe for completing drawings is typically 24 weeks from the date of payment. In your case, the drawings unfortunately took an additional week due to the unique and specialized nature of the design. While I understand this delay may have been frustrating, the drawings were already in the final stages of completion, and canceling the order would have resulted in the loss of the payment, as drawing fees are non-refundable.

I contracted with Lion Buildings to construct a metal building. For the past six weeks, they have promised to start and complete the building. I have called numerous times each week. They will promise a date but not deliver. I have paid for the building but it has yet to be constructed. Thus is fraud.Business response

Attempted to get this company to build a metal building in my property. ***** the agent I was talking to guaranteed pre approved financing several times even after I informed him of my debt to income ratio. Their pre approved financing was not approved and the company refused to refund my over five thousand dollar deposit.Business response

While we strive to assist all of our customers with the financing process, please note that the final approval of financing is determined by our partnered finance companies, and we do not have control over their decision-making criteria. We also want to clarify our policy regarding deposits. As stated in our terms, deposits are non-refundable once an order has been placed. However, your order is still active, and we are more than willing to work with you on alternative payment arrangements, such as monthly payments, if that would be helpful to you.

The initial contract to have our building ordered and installed was 8-23-2023 with a total cost of $67,732.28. Lion buildings and their affiliate Super Metal Structures would provide all materials and labor to install the building (*80' x 50' with 10 windows, 3 man doors, 3 14' x14' roll up doors and a partition wall inside the building dividing it into two separate spaces. I have a few issues within my complaint-1. They did not install the 3 header seals over the 3 roll up doors as promised in the contract- I have tried contacting them numerous times only to be ignored or told they would get it to the right person without any follow up.2, several windows and areas in the roof leak and they have not responded to this problem as well after numerous attempts.3. they have promised they would rectify the situation on several occasions but I have yet to hear from them.I want the header seals to be installed correctly and sealed to the existing spray foam insulation and the leaks to be fixed so that I don't have water in my building every time it rains. In addition, we are not able to live in the building as planned since the air cannot be cooled or heated with the header seals missing and water leaking in so we would like a partial refund of our money as well in the amount of $33,866.14.My contract number is ODR-****** *************************Customer response

The business contacted me following my complaint saying their records showed the building be completed and the header seals being installed, However, this cant be true as I have several correspondences showing they knew they had not been installed and that the building leaks. I did receive an email from someone on behalf of Lion buildings saying that they had attempted to contact me several times to set up the installation of the Header seals, however when I responded to the email on at least 5 different occasions they ghosted me. I have not heard from the business in response to their original email concerning my complaint. At this point they have not resolved the leaking or the header seals installation.Business response

After several attempts to contact your assigned installer, we were finally able to make contact on May 9th. The installer, Super Metal Structures, acknowledged the situation and scheduled the necessary repairs for the following day. We understand the importance of keeping our customers updated and regret that communication was not as prompt as it should have been.
On May 22, 2024, the assigned installer completed the repairs, addressing both the leaks and the installation of the missing header seals. We are pleased to confirm that the issues have been resolved to your satisfaction.
We apologize for the delay in resolving this matter. The scheduling challenges with the installer contributed to the delay, but we have taken steps to ensure that such delays do not occur in the future.

I am writing this complaint again due to the issue being unresolved. I purchased our buildings from Lion Buildings. As of today they have not fixed the leaks in our home. We were promised multiple times they were coming to address but they never did. Our garage has water pouring into it and now the home is leaking from the roof being installed improperly. I want this issue resolved asap.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
Although we did supply you with the engineered drawings, the fault of **** ***** not building properly is not my fault! I should not have leaks in my roof. If you build it properly we had another to find that you were never installing flashing where it is supposed to be, so that the leaking does not happen. We have contacted you during the entire process in through all of this. We were totally ignored. I am not at fault for the negligence of your building by your hired contractor. We have a warranty with your company which you have not followed through on one time. We have asked countless times for you to come and fix these, and The one time they came, they did not fix the issue and we immediately told you.Initial Complaint

We had Lion Builidings install a 30x40 building with 2 roll up doors in July of 2023. I noticed in the following days that one of the roll up doors was not set correctly and we are now having issues with the door. I have reached out to them several times and finally was able to get them scheduled to come back to fix the door 11/07/2023, in the late hours of 11/06/2023 I received a message that they would not be able to make the appointment due to a family emergency. I have to take off work for situations like this as I work out of town. when I informed them that this was not acceptable that I had already taken the day off for the scheduled appointment they responded that they pushed the appointment to 11/08/2023. I cannot be there on the 8th as I have to request the time off and I can't do this on short notice. I have been trying to get into contact with them since they installed, after we noticed the issue with the door. They do not respond to text messages or calls after job has been paid for. I am not completely heartless I understand family emergencies but with the trouble I have had getting someone to answer my calls and to even get the appointment scheduled has been a struggle, and for them to cancel the night before caused issues for me since I can't just take off work when they were going to show up to do the repair.Business response

Lions Buildings, 1** ***** *** ******* ********** ** . On 6 April 2023 I entered into a purchase and installation of a metal structure. I paid a down payment of 3,688.69 (Receipts and purchase order in hand. The project was not scheduled. The purchaser is responsible for permitting, surveys and foundation prior to building being scheduled. I confirmed the P.O. 3 times through customer service representatives. My salesman was Diego T*****. After completion of all prerequisites, on 5 July via Email to Mr. T***** and phone calls to the companies customer service number the company was notified and I was ask to await scheduling. I also advanced the company an additional5K for my project. At this time the company became nonresponsive. Numerous calls were made and numerous emails sent and I began to feel that I may have been scanned. In each case I was given the run around and informed that another department was responsible at this point but never provided a POC for the alleged department. On 4 August after several phone calls I received a PO for my project but the additional 5K was not included. I complained and the company sent and adjusted PO with and email apology. Due to nonresponsive nature when trying to schedule a delivery date, I lost customer confidence. The company claims ( Lions Buildings Web Site) a 2 to 4 week installation. The total cost of the purchase is $19, 688.38, with $10, 999.69 Remaining. As of 6 August I do not have a delivery date. The companies poor customer service is the opinion of the customer. The customer will make his feelings known via social media and other platforms. If the company can not fulfill the PO we would expect a full refund. The company ( if Legitimist) simply needs to keep the customer informed. Please understand the in addition to the PO, I have an additional out of pocket expense of 12K. Foundation Permits etc. the additional expenses are my responsibility only.Business response
