    I started lawn mowing and lawn care service with them on April 2, 2024. Their first time here on that **************** knocked on my door to tell me they ran over one of the trees in the backyard but would be back to brace it and if they need to replace it, they will. He didn't show up, so I texted him on April 3rd, he responded April 4th saying he would be by on April 5th. Still didn't show up. I texted him again on April 8th to replace the tree, he responded on April 8th that he would be by on April 9th to brace the tree and if it needs to be replaced, he would take care of it. Never heard from him again. I texted him complaints and pictures of the horrible work that was done in my yard, unrelated to the tree, and he stopped responding and never resolved the issue. I now have a dead tree in my backyard.

    Good Evening,
    While mowing this customers house the plastic shoot blocker on the side of the mower bumped the tree and caused it to slightly lean to the side. We staked the tree for the customer and spoke to her afterwards to let her know it just needed to be watered and would be okay. A few weeks later the customer reached out and said she thought the tree needed to be replaced but when I came and checked on the tree, it was healthy. Since the customer terminated our services 3 months ago she has not contacted us regarding the tree or any other matter. Since we were no longer under her employ it is impossible for us to monitor the tree. Had the customer contacted us at any time in the past 3 months we would have worked with her to come up with a solution. She is now claiming that after 3 months of extreme heat and a drought a tree on her property has died and we are at fault even though she does not have an irrigation system and we have not been at her property since the spring.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have a text message from the owner saying that if the tree needs to be replaced, they will replace it after the first time I indicated that it needed to be replaced. The second time I mentioned that it needed to be replaced along with complaining about the poor work, on May 7th, he stopped responding. So after not hearing anything from him for almost 2 weeks, and him not taking any steps to fix his mistakes, I stopped service on May20th.  I watered the tree on a regular basis to try and save the tree, even though he gave zero instruction on how to maintain and try to save the tree. Just because I don't have an irrigation system doesn't mean it wasn't watered. And just because I had to fire them for the multiple issues and horrible work they did to my yard, doesn't exclude them for being responsible for the damage they caused and agreed to repair while they were here.

    Tedesco Lawn Care requests this complaint be removed. Although we did not come to an agreement on the series of events described in the complaint, customer satisfaction is important to us and we have taken the steps to resolve this issue by reaching out to the customer and offering to replace the tree at no cost.
