LIPSTICK ON A PIG!!! unlicensed contractor, no permits pulled and shady work completed and now the possibility of me loosing my home due to SEVERE Structural damage. In the crawl space, numerous dry stacked block piers and temporary jack post have been added and there is no evidence of a footing. A licensed general contractor should be consulted to review the pier placements and determine if the piers should be changed to a permanent or more secure support system. The girder located in the crawl space is not properly supported by the foundation. The girder is a main structural component that provides support of the framing structure and transfers loads to the foundation. Proper bearing is required to ensure the stability of the framing and protect the supporting foundation. A licensed general contractor should be consulted for further evaluation, to determine the extent of the damage and to make necessary repairs. I now have opened a CaseXXXXXXXXXX606) PERMIT# XXXXXX- Special Request with the City of Jacksonville and have had two inspections from the city stating the ENTIRE Flood system needs to be replaced. MJNB //Brad Cook doesn't have a contracting license and did over $30k in remodel and half completed work without permits that I am able to track up to this point.
