My mother took her car to Pete Smith in Henderson NC off of hwy 39 to have front end work done and bought 2 new tires. The day I took mama to get her car after repairs there was new tires on the front as requested. On her way home she almost lost control and ran off the road, she did make it home and called the shop. Pete Smith had a rollback to come get the car and took it back to take another look at the car. They did correct the issue but they took her tires off and put 2 other tires back on that was in ALOT worse shape then the first 2 before the repairs started. After tempers were lost on both sides the owner himself called mama and told her that the tires on the car are the ones she bought and that the numbers on the tires would match whats on the paper work. He has never seen the car let alone the tires which the numbers DO NOT match. Mama's 73 years old and on a fixed income. Pete Smith Automotive Group is not to be trusted, next time it may be your mom or a close loved one.

This review is totally misleading, inaccurate and contradicts our A+ rating with BBB. The problem began when we deposited a check that caused other checks of hers to bounce, due to insufficient funds. After the initial work was finished, she stated she didn't have the funds to cover it and asked the manager of my store to hold a check that she would pick up later. We normally wouldn't do this, but we reluctantly agreed to hold it. After over two weeks of unanswered messages and no other form of payment being provided, the check was deposited. Apparently this set in motion a series of other checks not being funded because the funds were covering the check she had given us. Only after this did she start to have a problem with the work that had been done. The tires were not switched on her vehicle and this was verified by another manager at a different location of mine. The customer was extremely vile with her language to my manager and was asked not to return. She had previously been asked to leave another location of mine over a year ago. ***** ***** President/Owner Pete Smith Automotive Group
