  Apex Construction Services removed and replaced the concrete on my front porch, carport, and walkway on January 16, 2023. Upon completion of the work, I paid this company $9892 as agreed on prior to the work being done. The company agreed to remove the concrete in these three areas; install all necessary rebar reinforcements in the concrete; stain and stamp the concrete on the porch and walkway once the concrete was installed; and then use a sealer on the porch and walkway when the concrete and stain had dried. The company did not wait long enough for the porch staining/stamping to dry before using a sealer on the porch. When the sealer was applied, apparently the walkway was drier, due to more direct sunlight: but not the porch. Subsequently, the porch began discoloring very shortly after the sealer was applied. I contacted the owner of Apex, Mike H*******, immediately and sent him pictures of the porch as he requested. He indicated that he would come by and check to see what might be done to correct the problem. He nor anyone from Apex has followed up with a visit to see what might be done. I have called and texted Mr. H******* numerous times since my first call to alert him of the problem. He promised me weeks ago that he would send his partner by my house to check the porch. To this date (9-20-2023), no one has come to check on the problem; therefore, nothing has been done. I suspect that the porch concrete will have to be removed, re-stained/stamped, and sealed after drying. The carport and walkway are okay; however, the porch is completely unacceptable aesthetically and needs to be redone. My wife and I are completely frustrated with Apex after making numerous contacts with Mr. H******* without any corrective action on his part to remedy the problem. He is now at a point of not taking my calls or responding to my texts. Prior to this discoloring problem on the porch, Mr. H******* and I had no problems what-so-ever in our business dealing.
