On July 17, 2023, I informed my previous rental company, Wess Cason Realty, that I was separating from my husband and moving out of the rental home but he was staying on the lease. I will be sharing screenshots of the email correspondence. I was informed by ******** Cason the manager/ owner son that I would only be required a $99 early termination penalty and would be removed because I did not provide 2 months notice. This would be effective 8/1/23. I then moved out & was confirmed I was removed from the lease. I did not hear anything else until one of the employees *********************** reached out because they were having issues communicating with my ex husband. My assistance was only to de-escalate their issue, I had been off the lease and living in my new home for a few months at this point. ********************* decides he no longer wants to rent the property, which still has nothing to do with me. This company has threatening me with collections has someone calling my phone harassing me stating I owe almost $4000 for wear and tear. ***** name who is the sole lessor is no where listed on this letter just my name but I am not on the lease. Again, I will share all communication with *** Cason Realty but the harassment is not warranted & I definitely do not owe any money the $99 was paid to remove me from the lease. Thank you for your help in this matter

    Please see business response below:

Last July she gave us a 2 week notice that she was moving out and wanted to be removed from the lease she signed with her husband. We advised her that she would be breaking her lease and that just because she moved out, she would not be remove her from the lease obligations. Her husband would have to re-apply and be approved on his own and sign a new lease. His income was approved for him to qualify on his income, but he never followed thru with us and stopped communicating with us. No new lease was ever signed and therefore ******* was never removed from her lease obligations. Here is a quote from an email our property manager sent her on December 12, 2023:

Removing you from the lease was not an obligation. You were the one that broke the lease by moving out before the lease ended, and we were simply trying to be helpful and assist due to the circumstances. At this point your name will not be removed from the lease. The time for that would have been back in July.  This is between you and *****, and you both need to handle it between yourselves!

Our leases auto renew each year unless the tenant and/or the owner terminate at least 60 days of the renewal anniversary. Celestes lease she signed in 2021 auto renewed each year.

I am rejecting this response because the statement was incorrect. Please see the previously attached email communications. Wess Cason did not share any of the stated communications with me. We only communicated via email until ***** reached out to me via phone much later because they were having issues communicating with *********************. I was already living in my new home. They are not being truthful.
