  On 1/29/23 I hired My Pros Construction to enclosed my deck and add a roof top covering the deck. Since then now 11/2/23 the work that I paid him for is starting to fall apart and have mold on the roof ceiling due to poor construction and use of the wrong materials. The screen is coming off the screen door, the rails which is stained is not properly secured and starting to sagged due to no support. The thin trim is becoming detached because the wrong use of nails to properly secure the trim. The roof ceiling has water damage because of no barrier. When I contacted ******** about the work he said all the problems Im having is because the wood was not stained. And there will be an additional fee to repair the work he failed to do properly the first time. I had to called ******** back to do repairs over the summer because there were missing pieces from the deck. Because the wood not being staineddoes not account for all of the damages, repairs needed. ******** knew the work he did wouldnt last a full year. I referred ******** to another friend and again he left the job half complete and the construction work was very poor.

  The customer was asked if they would like us to stain the porch as it would need it to protect the wood from sun and weather. She refused and said she would do it herself. Some of the images that are posted are of the porch before it was completed. Only some of the wood that was not treated was warped or sun damaged. I informed the customer that I would be happy to make those small repairs for a small service charge, as the repairs are no fault of mine and the distance of where she stays. I told her I would make the drive to do her repairs for $125 she refused.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  The response from the business is not correct. All of the pictures I uploaded are after he completed the work. In additional in his message he stated he can complete the repairs for $125 per hour plus additional materials. The work was completed in Feb 2023. Again the wood not being stain has absolutely nothing to do with the poor quality of materials falling off and the screen coming off the screen door. In addition the screen is sagging in certain areas.  This is all due to poor workmanship. So it is all absolutely the fault of the person who did the work. Also why would I be charged a service fee of $125 per hour when the work was not completed correctly the first time. I paid already to have the work completed by My Pros Construction. Again the pictures are after installation from My Pros Construction.  I received an estimate of $1782.61 to fix all of the work that was not done correctly the first time.
