Tri-States Carports has had my deposit for 6 weeks with a guarantee of installing my carport in two weeks.Sent a man out AFTER DARK 3 weeks later to tell me that he, the installer, wanted an extra $200 and to upsize due to some BS and be would be back in a week.Called and upsized and agreed to the new ******** ONE WILL RETURN A CALL FROM SCHEDULING!I called today to cancel and was told by *** ********* that "*****" says the deposits are non-refundable.This company is a SCAM!!!

Mr. ******* ordered a carport(20x20x11) on 11/5/24. He paid his deposit at that time(410.70). When the installer(********) went to install the carport (week 12/2/24) the customer said that he measured wrong and wanted to change the size. Installers does not have extra material on their truck so the installer told the customer to call our office. The order was changed on 11/3/24 to 24x20x11. When the scheduler has orders to go to the same area to make a run, she will call the customer to let them know when the installer will be coming. We do not have a set time for install. The customer called on 12/16/24 to cancel his order. Our order form states that the deposit is non-refundable.

I ordered our carport on 6/30/23, It got put up today on 7/13/23 and the workers where great, very hard working and courteous. I wish I knew their names so I could tell everyone so if you can ask for them you would have no problems.

I am very happy with my experience and results with Tri-State Carports Inc. Their sales and scheduling team are very responsive and professional. First use the **************** to select and design the carport or building you want. It is a very good, intuitive tool. I used it on a laptop for best results. It will provide all the various options and prices. Save the design and contact Tana. That is who I worked with and she is very responsive. I kept track of our communications by email. She sent me the order form by email attachment on 6/20/2023, I paid the deposit on 6/23/2023 and the crew came and did the install on 6/27/2023. That is what I call service. My carport is large, 22x40 feet with 10 foot legs. The frame is double legs, upgraded to 12 gauge and extra braces. The ends are gabled. The installation crew is very skilled and hard working. They arrived at 10am and finished by 4pm. Two hours later a typical Pennington county, South Dakota storm came up with hail and 75 mph wind gusts. The carport withstood it with no problem.

horrible horrible horrible... my carport is pulling away from the concrete slab and it leaks. such a waste of time and money. it is only 3 months old.

We had a scheduled repair for this carport. She canceled the repair and said she was getting someone else to fix it. We appologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

When they contacted me, they acted like it was gonna be quite some time before they were going to be in the area again to fix the carport. Meanwhile, the carport shakes and makes noise and drips, and I cannot wait until it blows down the street and causes $1 million worth of damage, so yes, I paid someone to fix the piece of junk. They sold me. And I told them not to stay off my property because I didn’t need them to health hazard Lee try to fix their mistake. In my opinion, the whole thing needs to be tore down, and the cement slab needs to be re-poured and start all over again because of people that don’t stand behind their product and sell junk and have just anybody install it.

I live in Illinois and have property in Ark. We have been talking about having a carport put over the camper for a few years now. We found a business in Mo that handled orders for the carports and talked to him about it in July of 2021. He informed us that due to supply issues and not enough installers that they were estimating 4-6 months for delivery and install. We did get an estimate but decided to wait to order. In late May 2022 we talked to them again, he said the company told him they were getting caught up with orders and were 6-8 weeks out now. I ordered it Memorial Day weekend, the price had increased from July by about $700.00, not a big surprise with the way everything has went up!! Planned on being back in Ark the last 2 weeks of July which would be at the 8 week mark. I received a call from the company at the beginning of the second week that they had us scheduled for Friday afternoon (my last day there before returning home) to deliver and install. The crew showed up Friday afternoon and wasted no time getting everything set up and installed. They did a great job, very fast and efficient and the top looks great. I believe the lead guys name was Alfredo, told us they were from the Effingham, Illinois area. I would give the guy we ordered from in Gainsville Mo a 5 star for letting us know about delays up front so we weren't as frustrated as many others, the install crew deserves a 5+, they were fantastic. The quality of the carport seems good and well constructed, we'll have to see if stands the test of time.

I had nothing but the best of service from start to finish. Was told it would probably be four to six weeks before my two carports would be delivered but I got a call two days later asking if I could be ready for them the next week. The installation Crew showed up when expected and completed the job in less than six hours. They were very professional and thorough. Cannot say anything negative about the company, the contractor I dealt with or the installation Crew Thumbs up to this company.

This rating reflects my experience with Taylor S******, customer rep. and justifies this rating. I started out with a carport, evolved to a 2 car garage, and bought sheet metal and covered a wood storage shed with Taylor’s help and perseverance. While the process was not easy for her, she was very reliable in responding in both e mails and phone calls. I could not have asked for a more professional sales rep who was there to assist me from start to finish with my project. A company is only as good as it’s employees and in my book, she raised my opinion of this company considerably.
