I signed and paid for an yearly pool service contract with Swails Pool Services LLC on July 16, 2022 for an amount of $2,000 plus $145 in tax. The service went well through August 2022. Looking back through my communication with ***** on my phone he started missing weeks here on there starting in September 2022 and was an ongoing trend until he complete went missing on March 6, 2023. Based on text messages he never came to clean our pool an estimated 10 weeks during that time. The last known visit was in the middle of February 2023. I but faith in ***** Swails numerous times until February 2023. And tried my best to work with him and be patient and understanding with some of his challenges. ***** had surgery a couple times but he never let me know of his absences or his health issues that would lead to him missing weeks. At this time I have tried numerous times to call and text ***** since March 2023 so what I'm asking for is to be refunded for 6 months of my year long contract which brings that refund to a total of $1,072.50 but I would settle for $1,000. I have screenshots of text messages and a pdf of the signed contract if necessary. Please help! Thanks,*******************************

On or about 03/15/2022 we hired ***** Swails of Swails ************ to clean, repair and maintain our pool. ***** showed up at the house with a helper and ***** was on the phone the entire time. We paid ***** to clean the pool and it was never cleaned properly. ***** also the check be made out to him personally. ***** also requested from my husband to be paid in advance to service the pool. ***** was paid for the lid for the pool and never installed it. ***** was paid a deposit for a light to be installed in the pool of $500.00. ***** never showed back up to replace the pool light, to drop the lid off and to service the pool. Finally after finding him on ******** since we wouldn't contact us back, he finally called and said he would drop off the lid and the money he took from us on materials and services he never performed. ***** lied about returning the money and the lid. He is now not answering and texts and phone calls. I have googled him online and found out her was arrested last year. Also, I have reached out to the neighborhoods watch and he was done the last thing to lots of people in the area. I would like the BBB to help me resolve this with our payment of more than $750.00 to be paid back and our lid to be dropped off.
