  Epic Construction was hired to determine the cause of a water leak in our living room, fix the leak, repair roofing & siding damaged by the water, install flashing around the roofline/chimney to ensure watertight seal, demo the water damaged drywall in the living room, install new drywall, & paint new drywall. Brandon M***** inspected the damage & gave an estimate of $5239.63 on 7/10/2023. The job was scheduled for 8/24/2023. A 2 man crew arrived to do the work, but needed homeowner guidance of job to be done, as they did not appear to have clear instruction on what they were there to do. The crew removed vinyl siding & repaired one wooden panel on the side of the chimney. They also spackled cracks on the drywall in the living room. They did not install flashing, inspect or repair the roof, and did not replace the living room drywall as stipulated in the original work order. When it was inquired why the wall wasn't being replaced, the workers responded "Oh it's fine", even though the wall is clearly water damaged. There was a rainstorm on the very night after Epic Construction did the work, & the living room wall still leaked & the wall bulged out from water behind it. The homeowner immediately sent pictures to Brandon M*****, who ensured that his team would be back out the following day (8/25/2023) to make additional repairs. Epic Construction did not show up at all, nor did Brandon attempt to communicate with the homeowner. At 6:17pm on 8/25/2023, Brandon texted the homeowner "(Name of referral source) said you were unhappy so we didn't come back today. Let us know if you would like us to come back or not but can assure my guys made every attempt to fix your leak". Many items on the work order were not completed, & many steps were not taken to ensure the leak was repaired (i.e. running water to pinpoint the origin point of the leak and verify the leak had been fixed after the job was completed).
