Bought a small log home paid it off in full.. Was given a list of builders the company recommended 4 builders on the list in a separate email . The builders that were recommended were charging four times the amount of money that local insured contractors quoted.. You have to get and pay for your own equipment1500 dollars a week plus delivery costs. They tell you they have electrical and plumbing plans. They lied During the process, they drove up costs with windows, 3rd party engineers, roof sheathings, ect. The cabin was set to get delivered and they informed me I owed another $8000 for delivery fees and taxes. I was quoted a $2600 delivery fee three months prior.. they were completely unwilling to work with this number, despite their mistakes, and if you dont go through with that, they keep all your money. After lots of back and forth with the team, we ran into significant and terrifying issues. First off, after we paid the initial deposit and selected our builder we requested additional information. Log Cabin Homes refused to provide any planning information until we had paid the remaining balance of the 10% required down-payment. So, we paid the remaining deposit. After that, they went silent as we tried to move forward. We again requested information, which was met with very general response. Nothing the builder could actually use for any planning. So we continued to be the squeaky wheel. Their silence and failure to respond to multiple requests became concerning. When we finally got traction, they provided us with drawings that stated Log Cabin Homes would be shipping a package of uncut logs, to which the builder would be required to cut to their drawing specification. That was not what we were sold on. We were sold on a kit that would be assembled on-site by the builder. This adds a significant manpower cost, something they didn't tell you. We requested a refund. Only to be told by the Vice President that they would not issue a refund because our small financial loss was used to pay their salaries, bonuses, advertisements, and purchase logs. When we pointed out these facts and expressed that this was exploitation of the customer for failure to provide all information to make informed decision, the ** resorted to child-ish insults. Therefore, legal action is required. Buyer Beware!!!

Purchased our product Feb 2020 Delivered Aug 2022 They only want your money, and they hope to frustrate you enough that you will walk away and they legally have your deposit. They control when you get your product. The blueprints are not complete and do not include mechanicals but will take for months to get. The delivery is very expensive (ours was 20K) and they will not provide a bill of lading, so you have to take their word for what the cost is. You get it when they decide they want to give it to you. We had 3 different delivery dates. We had alot of missing material that we had to buy. Ours was supposed to be up to the dry in but we had to purchase a ridge beam or we could not get the roof dried in. DO NOT trust any of the contractors on their "list". One of our windows came broken and it took 4 months to replace. Communication is difficult because no one answers phone or email until they want something from you. Many other issues to long to list. Owner is a very rude arrogant man. We had to get a 3rd party involved to ensure we were not going to be scammed by this company. They did not like that at all. Threatened to contact my bank to tell them we lied to get our loan and were committing fraud. Sent me a cease and desist email on their letterhead with spelling and grammar errors because I was complaining on FB about them. I was doing a count of how long it takes to get the blueprints. I have this all in emails. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere,

A most dishonest and unprofessional company. WE purchased a log home over 2-years ago and cannot get a set of plans and cannot obtain a building permit. The Owner *** ***** is
unresponsive and will not answer phone calls and does not respond to e-mail requests. The customer service is impossible to deal with. The only way to get a response from these
people is to drive to Rocky mount and try to get a face to face meeting. Since we cannot get our log home started we are requesting a refund of our deposit.
