Bought a defective mower, keeps breaking down , they won't accept my equipment return or refund my money.

Toro offers a 4 year/1000 hour warranty on their products. Being a Toro Master Service Dealer we perform this at no charge to the customer. Baultista Landscaping brought us a mower early this morning 8/19/24 for a failure that is covered under the warranty. Toro nor Sharpe's Lawn Equipment offers a refund for a mower that is well used and several months old. Using equipment for business purposes comes with a higher failure rate than residential use and should be excepted by any business owner. To write a bad ****** review and file a complaint with BBB in less than 8 hours is ridiculous. We contacted **** as soon as the customer left our business to discuss this particular failure. As of 5pm EST on 8/19/2024 we have not been contacted back from the service technical department at ****. ******** is addressing this problem with all seriousness and will repair the mower under warranty at no charge per the owners manual which is in the customers possession.

I took my zero turn mower to Sharpes lawn equipment last year and had them diagnose a problem with my mower. The one we was not driving properly. One of the two wheel transmissions was not working and needed to be replaced. That was the diagnosis they gave to me. And that was the only thing that was wrong with the mower. Once they had replaced it they told me it was ready for pick up. I picked it up and paid approximately $1200 to have it repaired done. Once we went and picked it up and brought it back. We could not even drive it due to the other transmission somehow "going bad" in the time that we drop it off to the time I received it back. The other transmission was is in perfect working condition when I took it there. I don't know what happened, but it was not returned the same as when I dropped it off. I talked to them about resolving the issue and they said that it was not their fault. Even though they could not explain how another transmission got mysteriously damaged they had no explanation, but refused to resolve it. My personal opinion is that they replaced the wrong transmission on the wrong side of the mower. They charge me an additional $1200 to replace the second transmission that was not broken whenever I took it to them. All I am wanting them is to refund the additional $1200 that I had to pay to get the second transmission fixed.

***** dropped his mower off on 3/13/2023 for a pulling issue. We tired to get ***** to supply us with an original date of purchase so we could possible get Toro to pay for the repairs. ***** was unable or willing to supply this so we were force to charge him for the repairs. The left transmission would not pull at all so the mower would only pull on the right side. The technician that performed the repairs has been with our company for 31 years and has multiple master certifications. With that being said, if we replaced the wrong transmission the mower would not have been able to be driven to test our work, load the mower onto his trailer, mower be unloaded then mowed with to have the right transmission fail. I even asked ***** if he wanted us to put his old left transmission back in, replace the right at no charge but the unit would not pull on the left side and he refused. Without proof of purchase we do not know if ***** was original purchaser or if the mower has been used beyond what it was designed for.  Lastly, he did not bring mower back for right transmission replacement until 5/19/2023.
