Purchased a brand new house build by the contractor on March,2023 for *******. Since the purchase I have experienced over $45,000 thousands of dollars in damage due to the improper construction of the home including water damage and warped flooring and black mold due to the way the house crawl space and land not being graded properly from the beginning of the build. Addressed with the contractor numerous times while house was under warranty and barely received correspondence and no issue resolved. Have been dealing with the issues as they continue to get worse over a year. Nothing has been resolved and am now getting ignored.

Ms. **** had an issue with standing water in her crawlspace after a heavy storm.  After inspecting the area, we installed a pump to the crawlspace to alleviate any future problems.  Ms **** also complained that she had water damage to a section of flooring in the inside of the house.  After inspecting the area, we determined the damage was caused by dog urine.  As a good will courtesy, we planned to replace the damaged section of flooring, but found that the flooring in the house has been since discontinued by the manufacturer.  We offered to install the new flooring, but declined to pay for flooring for the entire house.  She was not happy with this decision.

Some time later, she again complained about water in the crawlspace.  An **** expert was sent to inspect.  His findings were that the **** filters had never been changed and were completely clogged.  He talked to her about the importance of changing these filters and explained that, due to extreme temperatures, her HHAC unit would experience higher than average condensation.

The next time we heard from her, she emailed to let us know that she had hired a company to inspect her property and they had given her a proposal to alleviate the "black mold" issue.  As far as I know, the mold was never tested and we do not the mold was, in fact, black mold.  The quote was also several times higher than average market value.  We sent a water removal expert to inspect the property.  He quoted a price 150% LESS than Ms **** had originally presented.  Ms **** declined this service.  She also made it clear that she would not allow us back on her property.  Her final message was to us was that she was going to pursue legal action.  With that statement, I asked her to have her lawyer contact us and have not heard back.

To be clear:  her newly built house passed all inspections performed by the county.  Her newly built house passed inspection performed by her own home inspector.  She had a very small amount of standing water after an unusually heavy storm and we acted immediately to remove the water.  Her inside flooring damage was caused by standing dog urine.  This damage was not caused by any standing water in the crawlspace.  All of the insulation under the house was dry and showed no signs of ever being wet.  Her "black mold" issue was caused by weather conditions paired with a naturally humid bathroom environment - and this was explained to her a 3rd party **** expert that we hired to inspect her claims.  Again, he also explained to her the importance of properly maintaining her unit by changing the filters on a regular basis.

Again, we have offered to perform prophylactic work designed to prevent flooding, and she will not allow us on her property.

I am rejecting this response because: The response received by the company does not line up with the actions that were taken by the company. Also falsified information regarding Ms. ****** response to refusing to allow anyone on the property. The damage to the floors being blamed on dog urine is implausible due to where the damage is located and the large amount of floor coverage. Again, another excuse to not address the real problem.
