    I booked a room at Quality Inn off I 40 behind ********** for May ***** (Fri-Sun). I arrived at 3pm to check into the front desk. My husband did not arrive with me. He got off work late and would be traveling behind me. Normally when we check in, it's our habit to check the room before we bring the kids or our belongings in the room. I did not have time to do it at that time because I needed to rush to the funeral home for the viewing for my family to view my uncle's body at 4pm. I informed my husband that I did not check the room yet and he told me he would when he got there. Around 7pm he called to tell me he arrived.He called me back almost immediately and stated that there was alot of bugs crawling on the walls. I told him to go to the desk and request our money because I'm not staying there and would be there shortly. He called me back a few minutes later and said "the man at the front desk said we could only change rooms". When I arrived I requested our money. The man at the front desk, who was also the owner, said he would not do it and we could only change rooms. I told him I did not want to do that because if there's bugs in one room, there's bugs all over the hotel! Once again he said no. I explained to him that I was in town for my uncle's funeral and I just wanted my money so I could leave. That's when the owner started getting rude. I told him we weren't staying at the hotel and I would file a claim with the bank, call corporate, and the ********** of ****** Health. He responded "call whoever the f*** you want". My husband intervened and stated "we not doing that, you need to be respectful". The owner then stated in a threatening manner towards my husband and raised his voice and said "I'm not talking to you. You want to fight, jump, JUMP" and kept repeating it. My husband then told him if he didnt watch his mouth he was going to whoop his a** all over that hotel. He then walked off and I threw the room keys I was holding across the desk and we left.

    We arrived at the Quality Inn ******, NC on March 26, 2022 and decided to cancel our room and told by the front desk person that we could do so, the reason we cancelled is that we felt unsafe at the hotel, a large opened box of Trojan condoms was in plain site at the check-in desk, which is a red flag, in addition to the dirty run down lobby, again this hotel is NOT SAFE!

    DON'T STAY HERE!!! I booked a room here for 2 days because we were in town visiting family and this was that closest one. When my kids arrived at the room and walked in and cut the lights on there were gigantic bugs crawling on the wall. She took a video and showed the owner and they gave her another room...needless to say that one was filthy as well and they walked on the restroom and turned the lights on and the same thing occurred.. gigantic bugs crawling on the ceiling so at this point she asked for a refund and the man refused...He offered to stay one night and the other night would be for free, but no one wants to sleep in that mess so all we wanted was the money back. He came out grabbed his little bell and locked himself back in a room.We had to call the police on them and we were told that they get complaints about this place all the time...He would not come out the back but he told my daughter he was going to lock them out. This man charged my card an extra $1000.00 talking about WE DAMAGED his property!!!🤬 Boy I was and still am HOT!!! PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS WENT DOWNHILL AND SOMEONE NEEDS TO REMIND PEOPLE THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU OWN A BUSINESS YOU DON'T GET TO DO PEOPLE ANY KIND OF WAY AND FILTH IS NOT AN OPTION! IF THE CUSTOMERS DON'T COME IN YOUR BUSINESS YOU CAN'T GET PAID. We have videos and we showed them to the police. Nothing was damaged we showed the videos of the bugs crawling on the walls. I paid $294.00 plus the $1000.00 that he just charged my card talking about damages for 2 days. I should not be expected to sleep with bedbugs, gigantic bugs and in unsanitary conditions! They turned the phone off and wouldn't answer my call...IN FRONT OF THE POLICE OFFICERS THE OWNER SAID THAT HE WAS GOING TO REFUND MY $1000.00 but I have yet to see my money back on my card! This is Monday morning and I just called them and asked for my receipt and now they are saying that their system is down, I called back and now they won't answer.

    Hello Dear,

    All the refund was issue even there was damaged in the front door.only charged will stayed for one night as we both agreed. Since the kids moved the tree pots and blocked the door and door was keep open and close and hiting the pots since the pots was in center of the door. Thanks,

    I have been up since 7 this morning trying to run down information on these people who made my trip a very STRESSFUL DISASTER!!! They would not provide me with any information even after I called them this morning they recognized my phone number and told me they couldn't issue me a receipt because the system was down. I had to investigate to find the number to call the parent company to get them to issue a receipt and it shows a charge for I guess what is one night but my account is in the negative because of him taking my money without me giving him permission! There was no damage to ANYTHING WE HAVE videos and the police was there to see those flower pots and they said there wasn't any damage! I would think if there was any damage to them they would've seen it but it's so ironic that now he doesn't have anything to justify his filthy building, attitude, and his lousy customer service the flower pots become damaged all of a sudden when everyone has left...hummm...go figure! I am a single mother and I don't handle stress well!!! I will NOT REST UNTIL EVERY BIT OF MY MONEY IS BACK IN MY ACCOUNT THAT HE TOOK OUT!!! That NASTY place needs to be shutdown!! It also needs to be torn down and built again, remodeled or something but I will be damn if they do it off MY DIME!!! I am so stressed to the point that I have pains in my head and neck non stop since this incident because I don't just have $1000.00 for someone to just TAKE from me like that! These people need to be held accountable for the wrong that they are doing to people!!!
