Boundless Renovation was hired to replace drywall and paint ceilings in several rooms after a roof leak. ***********************, owner of the company, did the work in my home. All drywall patches he did are clearly visible to the naked eye. ****************** stated he was not able to correct the patches, and that it is impossible to have a drywall patch that was not visible after a repair. The ceilings he painted now have an orange peel effect, which now require extensive costs and repair work to return the ceilings to their original state. My ceilings were flat and smooth before he painted them, they are now textured. None of the ceilings he painted were trimmed or edged properly, including areas around lighting fixtures and smoke detectors. These areas were left unpainted. There are visible roller marks on all the ceilings. My garage sustained significant water damage from the roof leak. He forgot this area was included in the scope of work. He painted over the damaged area in the garage instead of replacing the damaged drywall. He stated the paint would cover up the stains in that area. When he did replace the drywall he tried to cut corners and cut a smaller area than the actual area that had been damaged. We had to request that he cut an additional patch to ensure all water damaged drywall was replaced. He rushed the patch repair in the garage, only applied one thick layer of mud to the area. The patch in the garage is clearly visible. In addition to subpar workmanship, ****************** arrived late most days and took extended lunch hours, causing work to be delayed. My home was not properly prepped and protected with plastic and/or tarps to protect my carpets. The entry way, stairs and hallway upstairs were not protected. After expressing my concerns to ****************** multiple times, he stated if I was dissatisfied, then I should just stay downstairs to avoid looking at the damaged areas until such time I could afford to hire another contractor to correct the issues he created.

Boundless renovations created unsafe living conditions when doing work in our kitchen. We had to have an electrician come out to see why our microwave blew after everything was brand new and installing just was done by boundless a week from incident. The electrician found several code violations and unsafe conditions created by both **** and *****. The electrician stated we were lucky a fire did not occur.We have had many issues along the way with them and their quality of work but this by far tops them all. We contacted the "business" to be compensated for the extra 300 dollars that was needed for the electrician and received ZERO responses. We should not be responsible for their sloppy work.They covered a live outlet up, hooked a 14gauge wire to ******************************************************************* a box . I have the violations and the pictures from electrician but am not able to post here. Something else to note is ***** gave a price to install back splash and his partner encouraged him to call a guy they usually use, who does the work on a daily babsis .After hesitating ***** called the more experienced guy and he gave a price of 350 dollars cheaper! Is this illegal, no. However, I do think it is worth mentioning as it shows the integrity, or lack of integrity , that this contractor/ business has. He was trying to convince us that we wouldn't find cheaper and was trying to avoid calling the more experienced guy at all cost. We also had several issues with other work they did and how they approached the issues. They left a mess after several days of work and trash. We had to rent a dumpster twice to discard their mess.Please think twice before using this company. Their slogan is "we are bound to get the job done right" it should actually be we are bound to do anything possible just to make it appear the job isdone right and get paid. Even if it means putting people at risk for unsafe living conditions.
