  On Feb 6th 2023 I paid *********************************************** $1000.00 to expunge a misdemeanor charge from my criminal record in which I was told that the process would take up to six months to complete, I have called the *** to check on the status of my expungement every month since Oct 2023 and each time they told me that they have no record of this expungement being ordered.I have gone by Hosford's office at least 7 times and left messages with the receptionist each time but nothing has happened, I've also called a few times and I have not gotten any results.

  To Whom It Concerns: January 1, **** I am *********************, mother of ***********************. I am acting on her request with notarized paperwork that gives me permission to make this claim against Hosford and Hosford PC Attorneys at Law.Date of Transaction was on07/31/2023 The amount of transaction was$15,000 Receipt Number is ****** Hosford and Hosford Attorneys was to take on a federal case for ************************* and depend on him as an attorney should. This was not the case. After the hearing, my daughter requested a refund of her money that she had paid him for his service. She called him several times, texted him and even went to his office with me to talk with him but he told the secretary that he was not available. The secretary told us to call him later that day because he was in court in another city .We left a message with the secretary and we left. She called him a lot of times and finally he texted back and asked why the change of not wanting him to represent *************************. My daughter told him that **** no longer wanted him because he did not represent him as he should. At the hearing, he just sat there with no comments and did not represent him at all. After my daughter texted with him about the money and not wanting him as ****'s attorney, the problem got worse. He would not answer his personal phone which he did when she paid him the money to represent ****. He would not answer any calls and it would go to voice message. We both started calling the office. When she would call, it would go to voice message because I am thinking her number was recognizable to them for all the calls she had made. My number was not recognizable because I had not called as much as her. I did talk with a secretary and left several messages. She was very understanding of the problem we were having with Hosford. Hosford never called us back or texted us. After calling the office a few times , my number was recognizable and my calls went straight to voicemail. From there we have not heard from him. Hosford only went to Sampson County Jail to see ********************* one time and the other time was when **** had the federal hearing. My daughter is in jail right now and is not available to file this complaint. Her phone was confiscated by the federal agents with all the text messages on it. I do have the receipt where she paid the $15,000 with a check where she borrowed money from me and her grandmother to retain Hosford. At this point, Hosford has not tried to resolve this problem.
