  In early October ********************************* order to get an estimate on raising the cupboard over the refrigerator. I was replacing my *************************************************************************************************************************************************************** a quote of $600 to $800, but said he wouldn't be able to get to it for 2 or 3 weeks. I was fine with that. However, it extended to a month plus and I had set up the delivery of the new fridge based on his estimations. I had to twice delay the delivery of the new fridge and was nearing a third time when he came out and roughed out the cupboard to accommodate the new fridge. This was sometime in November. I accepted his excuse that there were other projects they were working on that were ahead of mine. Work remaining was shortening the doors as now the cupboards were considerably smaller in height than before, and installing them and the hinges and pulls. Also matching and staining/finishing wood on one side of the adjacent cabinet that was now exposed. Also gluing a part of the cabinet he had split out. Everything was good to this point, although slower than I had expected. But then he didn't come back for another 8 months. He just came back today 7-13-22 and finished the job. The **** is $735. I would not have disputed this amount had the job been done all at once, or at least in a reasonable amount of time. This business was obviously making money on other projects during this interval, while mine sat in limbo. My complaint is that I feel my **** should have reflected this long delay.

  Customer wanted the work done ASAP, I am booked out a year. I went there cut out cupboards so fridge could be installed. Roughly a month later, I went and finished the job. Charging him less then what the job was worth.

   I am rejecting this response because:  Because it is a blatant lie!!  It happened exactly as I set out in my original complaint.  After he did the rough out so my fridge would fit, he only came back sometime in the next month to measure the door dimensions.  That was in November.  He did not return until July of 2022 to mount the doors, stain and finish the rough out area.  Total dishonesty.

   

  I have already sent a check in the amount they asked, and judging by the response they are not reputable enough to change anything.  So thank you for your service.
