I would not suggest this company to anyone. The lower management, particularly the landlords, lack professionalism and resort to intimidation and false allegations to achieve their objectives.MetroPlains Management, LLC Response

They let tenants put cameras on outside apt door that show into another apt when the door is open. Invasion of privacy at its best. This location is in *************. Manager is nice but her upper bosses don't care. It's all about getting their rent I guess.MetroPlains Management, LLC Response

I worked for this company, providing services as a vendor and after submitting my invoice I got the run around in regards to getting paid. When I asked about payment, Management had no answers but said they will check on it. Days went past and I tried calling and no answer, texted and saw messages read but no reply. I eventually called from different numbers and they would pick up right away only to have no answer on payment. I couldnt even get contact information for corporate or accounts payable. To this day I still have not received payment.Review from Gem S

Worse company to deal with. Rent is $1100 a month in Jamestown, ND. Promised that the apartments are new and well built. I have pictures to prove their lies. I was there for a week when I noticed that the kocking around the kitchen counters is alreading pulling away. The keys given to me does not work in all the doors. The gym and the community room could not be utilized because the keys do not open them. They care about their employees more than the tenents who actually pay the rent to eventually pay their paycheck. I rather live in my car than deal with them. if there is a rating that is -10 they for sure deserve it. I will be filing a complain once I get all my documents in order which will happen in the next couple of days. The mayor of Jamestwon ND should be ashamed of himself for supporting such company.Review from Terry R

I work close by and drove by 5-6 times a day, every day as it was being built. I wanted to live there so bad! I was one of the 1st to apply. I told my friends and relatives about it. It was suppose to open last summer, delayed to early fall, then to Nov, then Dec, then Feb, April, June, and now July.Anyways, after tons of paperwork and months of waiting for replies, I was in accepted into apt 111. I maintained in close contact with **** at the time. I even walked into the building once and it was sooo beautiful! I was so excited to move in at Christmas time. Then something catastrophic happened inside that building. Another delay so, I snuck in there again. It looked like a bomb went off inside! The floors were gone, wooden planks were the hallways. It looked like a staircase collasoed? Dirt, debris, sheet rock, paint, construction equipment were everywhere! I got busted and told to leave. MetroPM said there was another delay. After that, everyone had to re-apply. I re-applied. My calls, messages emails to **** went unanswered. I even drove to their office, **** wasn't there and she still did't contact me back. In one of my emails to her I said that they still hacmve my $300 partial deposit, a couple week later, I get a deposit in my account for $299.99. What? So, I know she was getting my messages. Idk what happened? Idk why? Everyone of my family and friends that applied were accepted and are excited to move in on July 17th. Unless there's another delay? Me, I decided to move into the new apts outside of ********. Good luck ya'll!Review from Roberto T

This is the worst management company I've ever experienced. They are terminating my least because they said I didn't report a fire which is not true I did report it and there was never even a a fire also this incident happened 6 months ago. They've had three different managers for my Townhomes since I moved in a year ago if not fixed anything besides in the beginning when the maintenance man **** work he actually finished things and got the job done but don't believe he works there anymore because now nothing gets done there wasn't a manager for about 3 months out of that year each manager had different rules and expectations. The managers did not communicate with each other managers did not save important emails for my animals. When this new management came in she decided she was just going to slap me with a bunch of lease violations and terminate my lease single mother of three children not behind on rent or anything it's going to kick us out right before winter management reported to me that they will not even consider my reasonable accommodations letter that I sent to them very disappointed in this company and their standards or lack thereof standardsReview from Darla V

My daughter is a very hard working person and tries to always do her best. She came to Metro Plains from out of State to be closer to me. She left a company that loved her dearly but when she came here it was a lot different. She noticed when she started that there were many jobs that were not filled and people were leaving, one of the persons leaving told her to watch her back because people will talk about you and stab you in the back. When she finally got moved up here with all the stress of moving and starting a new job she ended up getting very sick and was in the Hospital for a week with an inherited decease that her father also had that can be trigger from a lot of stress. When she got back to work she was very much behind and also had to cover for jobs that were not filled which took a lot of time. She had very little training and she kept reaching out for help but got none so she did her best to figure it out, but it wasn't good enough and was put on another 60 day probation but did get through that good and the boss praised her for doing a good job but she was always worried. As time went on she thought she must be doing good as she got 5 bonus checks and one day she got an appreciation basket for doing a good job, so she felt comfortable, she was happy because they had finally gotten all the positions filled and that would take a load off her and she could finally get the rest of her work caught up. The next day after the appreciation basket HR shows up and says she is always behind on her work and that she either needed to resign or be fired, why all the bonus checks and why the appreciation basked for doing a good job, she was so shocked. Like the lady said when she first started watch your back because they will stab you in the back and they most definitely did to my daughter. The job she left behind never wanted her to leave because she was so good at her job that they are taking her back w/ a raise but it's sad for me as its to far away.MetroPlains Management, LLC Response

If we are speaking about the same person, we would agree with you that she was and still has a very strong work ethic. When a decision is made to terminate employment, there is often a reason why and warnings have been given. Typically, we follow the progressive discipline process meaning that employees are given a verbal, written, and final warning before termination occurs. However, Certain types of situations may be serious enough to justify bypassing some of these steps, or, in extreme situations, going straight to suspension or termination. Although we cannot explain the reason why your daughter doesnt work here anymore, we strongly encourage you to speak with your daughter about what really happened. As always, there are two sides to every story, and based on your complaint, we dont believe that you have all the facts.With your daughters permission, we would be more than happy to jump on a call with the two of you to discuss in detail. Worst experience renting of my life. Came into my apartment and took pictures of my kids intimidated me with hinting at cps. How about invasion of privacy. Evicted me and my two kids in the middle of winter lying saying I wasn't following stipulation but I had proof that I was. Twisted things and made it look like they gave me proper notice were harassing me refused to fix things in my apartment so that I would leave. When I asked for a reasonable accommodation they refused and ignored concerns about my safety in the apartment. People down the hall had carbon monoxide poisoning because of faulty air circulation in the parking garage. I had wires touching in my breakers which caused them to melt and sparks were shooting out of the box. I called the lady in charge of the building and she said she couldn't talk to me because she owns the place and it's conflict of interest and hung up on me. I am currently seeking whoever is above her because my rights were violated time and time again and they bullied me out if there and caused so much turmoil in my life that I didn't need as I suffer from ptsd. I'm not the only one who has had this experience there and i don't want anybody to go thru what we did.
