The receptionist is rude, I called today because I have an excess credit on the bill and I wanted to know if there was any possible way to get the excess taken off my husband's card and she said it has to be done here and if you don't want to come in call corporate. I paid almost $1200 for dentures that are very painful and don't fit properly and for the price they shouldn't hurt my gums. I want a complete refund because for that price they should have fit properly without pain and I am going to have to find another dentist and pay for the dentures to be remade because affordable dentures don't do good work.

    Hello,

**** has called many times. Somedays she will call over and over expecting somebody else to answer with a different response. I have let her now many times that I have no way at all to refund a card over the phone. Anybody can call pretending to be a patient and collect money. All card refunds have to be physically inserted into a card machine. She as well will need to return the dentures she is not happy with. She will need to sign a paper stopping treatment/requesting a refund. I was very detailed with her about this. I let her know that I was more than willing to refund her. however, if she is wanting a check she would need to still sign the paper, return the dentures, and request a check be sent rather than a card refund. She will not do any of this. She stated that she did not feel like driving here. We will need the dentures returned and paper signed. I can refund her the day she walks in. I let her know she could stop by Monday through Friday and I would help her. Since I will not refund her over the phone and she is mad she has to return the dentures she thought it was rude of me to not think she was right and do it her way as a customer. She reassured me that she was not happy with the denture so she will not wear them. I let her know we will need the denture back. She has not came to the office once. She has called over 15 times harassing me about this refund. I have never told her no. She believes I need to do as she says since she is the customer. I do have guidelines to follow in regards to refunds. She will not return the product. She pre-paid and put a credit on her account before knowing which denture she wanted. I let her know that was fine and I would refund if at any point in the treatment she would like a refund. She stated she understood. Please let her know she will need to return her denture at the very least. She can come in at any time for her refund. I have never denied that. Please let me know what I need to do on my behalf.

    Thank you,

My grandma (***** *.) went into this business needing new dentures. Recently widowed (like a month without her husband) she trusted a business to treat her like a valuable customer. Well that’s unfortunately not the case. Had to go in multiple times because they created moulds that didn’t fit right or forgot to make the bottom plate. Yes, they are the bottom tier kind, but she should be able to eat or talk without being in so much pain she’d rather go without. Over $700 later she went in to see the “dentist” who she said could care less and told her she could get better ones for more money. Very disappointing to see a business care more about the money rather than a person in need. You kind of need teeth to eat and communicate and you should be able to do so without pain. She’s already upset about the loss of my grandfather and now this! This is her direct quote “ I went about four times, the first time I went for my dentures they forgot to make the bottom. I went in for another fitting and then had to wait two weeks because they were closed. I went in and got both top and partial but didn’t get to really try to eat with them. I went in again for adjustments. Then had to go in again because they hurt too much and I had to take them out to eat. They told me I had to upgrade before they would do anything thing else. Even with the adjustment I still had have pain and have to remove them to eat. I can’t even eat a sandwich because they won’t cut the bread.”

    Good afternoon,

We are happy to see the patient for any adjustments to attempt to correct the issue.  If the patient desires a refund, we are also happy to accommodate this request.  Patient would be required to return the denture and sign an agreement and release to process the refund.  We attempted to reach out to the patient via phone without success.  We will continue to attempt to contact.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: after calling business because they stated she could get a refund if she signed paperwork, they told her she needs to come back 5-6 more times to get fitted because it’s like a pair of shoes. She should not have to waste anymore time or money to fix what should’ve been taken care of. The ones she has are see through in some parts and don’t even fit her mouth right.

    Sincerely,

    ****** ******

I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother. She set up an appointment to get teeth extracted and then have temporary dentures made. The appointment to get the temporary dentures was done and they prepared them. My mother made sure to say that **** Medicaid will be covering the majority of expenses from the extractions and the permanent dentures. They agreed and the appointment was set. When she went to her appointment Friday April 14th they told her that the Dentist no longer accepts Medicaid. It was only three weeks from the last and nobody called her to inform her of this change. They did have her temporary dentures made however which she paid over $*** out of pocket for. Now it is unknown when she will get another day off from work and even wether she will find someone do do her extractions this year. They took her money knowing they were never going to follow through with the extractions. They did not have the courtesy to even call her to cancel the appointment or inform her of the change. Shame on them.

..Patient came to our office as first time , he stated he got this dentures 5 years ago at different location , we do not have access to records from his previous dentist at affordable dentures , it was in another state , he was told to contact corporate to release records so we could see when and what kind of dentures he got at the time, our warranty is 4 years , so he had the option of  contact  corporate or pay at front , he choose to pay out of pocket , he start arguing about filling new paper work  and requesting with big attitude to front desk , he made the  front desk  to make 2 copies of HIPPA privacy because he wanted read at home,  front desk never was talking about him,  she was talking to front office manager about duties at front, regardless what he understood it wasn't about him, when he was done he start screaming to all patients at the waiting room stating we are fraud and they should not do treatment at this office , and they just want your money , we didn't say nothing to him because we were ready to call the  police , he is not welcome to comeback to this office due to his  behavior  , we are not going to refund him since  the treatment was done for a repair denture as he agreed !

I got Dentures and paid for my dentures April 6, 2022. I was suppose to get a bottom partial but decided against it as it wasnt the best option for me in the long run. I contacted Afford dentures twice to discuss a refund. First time was the beginning of December and the second time was right before Christmas 2022. I was told both times that I would be refunded $*** for the partial that I personally paid for and decided against and have never received the refund. I decided against the partial because I was just going to have a full bottom denture instead. I do have a witness to both phone calls I made to Affordable Dentures. The last phone call I made to Affordable dentures, the lady I spoke to ( I spoke to the same female both times i called about the refund ) put me on hold for over 20 minutes, when she came back on the phone, she said she had to have the refund approved by the dentist, she stated that he did approve it and she would send it on to Corporate so they could issue the refund
