In response to my Lincoln Kia store review - we took the car 2 hours away - it was diagnosed and fixed the same day - thankfully Kia of Grand Island takes care of new car warranty customers - how is it possible the Lincoln Kia store has an A+ rating - every review is negative - seems changes are needed - possibly offering evening and Saturday hours to customers would help - very very thankful to Kia GI for excellent customer serviceKia of Lincoln Response

Kia of Lincoln Respone: “ Vehicle had and still has active and history faults stored in the computer causing multiple warning lights being on, and we can provide time stamped documents from Kia's software showing these faults stored in computer at the time the vehicle was dropped off by the customer confirming these issues were in fact present. Unfortunately this vehicle has damage to the electrical wiring system, and warning lights will continue to come on and the vehicle will not operate as designed until this is repaired correctly. These faults can also cause the brakes to not release as designed as they are directly related to the braking and ABS/ESC systems. At no time did we have any reason to touch any wiring as it was easily determined that wiring harness repairs were needed.” 391110 * INVOICE* “ TECHNICIAN PERFORMED INSPECTION PER CUSTOMER CONCERN OF ABS LAMP IS ILLUMINATED ON DASH AFTER REPLACING DRIVER FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR; SCANNED FOR FAULT CODES FOUND C120001 ACTIVE; UNABLE TO CLEAR THE FAULT CODE; CHECKED FUSES AND RELAYS; ALL FUSES AND RELAYS ARE GOOD; REMOVED FRONT BUMPER AND WHEEL WELL LINERS; CHECKED CONNECTIONS OF THE WHEEL SPEED SENSORS; CONNECTIONS ARE GOOD; CHECKED FOR PROPER GROUND AT THE DRIVER FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR ON THE FRONT HARNESS END; HAVE BAD GROUND FROM PIN #2 TO CHASSIS GROUND; MEASUREMENTS ARE NOT WITHIN SPECIFICATIONS; AT THIS TIME OF SERVICE RECOMMEND REPLACING THE ERONT WIRING HARNESS; INSTALLED ALL PARTS IN REVERSE ORDER; AWATTING APPROVAL FROM CUSTOMER; NO EURTHER ACTIONS TAKEN AT THIS TIME OF SERVICE. ????**?*?**********************” *service department lied about not touching the wiring harness? Then when does it say a technician performed this? And chasing a wire after we told them not to do anything like this? Knowing it might cause more damage to the wiring harness yanking and bulling on the bumper. And service department manager stated that he was watching them? Sure maybe the second time but not the first timeKia of Lincoln Response

Vehicle was brought in on 5/16/24 with the concern of an oil leak, and was informed the vehicle had hit an object on the interstate and caused warning lights to come on. Scanned codes and found left wheel speed sensor open/short faults (C120001) related to a damaged wiring harness. Also verified a fluid leak that had covered multiple areas within the engine compartment. Upon inspection, found very poor previous body repairs made to vehicle. Ran history report and verified vehicle was a salvage title. Cleaned area, test drove and was unable to reproduce leak. No repairs performed. Vehicle was released to customer.
Vehicle returned on 5/31/24 stating fluid leak had returned and also noted warning lights are still on. Scanned vehicle with Kia’s software, and found multiple faults this time which we have been time stamped and saved on 5/31/24 at 12:56 pm showing malfunctions with C120001 wheel speed sensor front LH, C120301 wheel speed sensor front RH, C1212 vehicle speed sensor, C1625 ABS/ESC CAN time-out, and C240201 brake motor electrical. Priced out front vehicle harness due to damage on vehicle by hitting object. Moved on to leak inspection and verified vehicle still leaking fluid. Cleaned area and test drove at higher speeds. Inspected area and found transmission fluid leaking from cooler line fitting, which was not touched during transmission service on 10/5/23 as this vehicle has specific fill and drain plugs to properly service transmission. Tightened bolt with new washer, test drove, and leak was no longer present. Did not charge customer due to vehicle coming back twice for a leak diagnosis. It was fully commutated with the customer that wiring harness repairs were needed. Customer declined wiring harness replacement and vehicle was released on 6/4/24. Customer returned on 6/4/24 and stated multiple warning lights were on. We scanned the vehicle with the customer which has been time stamped and saved showing same wiring harness damage fault codes that were originally found and saved at 12:56 on 5/31/24. This was commutated with the customer.

Brought my 2015 Kia Rio, basic of the basic lower term models with only 53,000 miles brought in for a leak the first time round they had said that it was a wiring harness issue, but we already knew about about that because my grandfather is a autumn mechanic and is also certified and transmissions, they said that they didn’t find after I had hit something in the road and that’s the reason why I brought it in. Then had to bring it in a second time because there was still oil substance found in the engine. They called and said that they can’t find the leak so then had to tell their service department supervisor that they had done a flush on the vehicle a while back the desk representative had said that the service supervisor had watched over them And all of a sudden they found a leak and there was oil coming from the transmission so then we got the vehicle back and all of a sudden all the lights on the dashboard came on the service department manager said I drove the vehicle 20 miles and all the lights were on one before there was only the ABS light on and the traction Light on the dash before we took the Kia and all of a sudden now the vehicle is wagging. Manuel E brake is engaged when it’s not engaged. And now all of a sudden, the check engine light is on. So now I’m having to put more money into a vehicle that didn’t have all these problems because the second time we brought the vehicle in we told him the leak was the main priority and the technician again once again had said it was the wiring harness, so why are You guys messing with the wiring harness and now all of a sudden it had made it worse whatever what was done . and the service department manager was trying to talk to us and explain to us what was happening or going on. He was shaking. Something doesn’t sound right in Denmark if you’re talking to a customer and you’re supposed to know your stuff and all of a sudden you’re avoiding eye contact and you’re shaking. Doesn’t sound confident of the matter.Kia of Lincoln Response

2015 with 66000 miles and engine is bad. I am getting no help from local dealer and national line says I have to start with them. This is a KNOWN problem. Kia put is engines that wear out prematurely and they did not recall them. Service won't escalate our problem, sales people are rude. National line puts you on hold for over an hour multiple times without helping.
