They offered a premium detail service along with a 3 stage wax, buff, and polish. They told me everything they were going to do but wouldn't tell me the price. I go to pick it up and absolutely nothing I paid for was done. It was very evident even seeing it from a distance as we were pulling into the parking lot. I pointed out the dirt, bugs, and blemishes that were still on my vehicle and that it would would be impossible for them to buff and wax let alone wash my vehicle and have that stuff still on my truck. The detailer said he would "touch it up" for me and he sprayed window cleaner on my truck and wiped it off which is another red flag. The owner started screaming at the top of his lungs in the parking lot at me and getting very aggressive. He got defensive that I called him out on his scam. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced and it seemed like he was on drugs. I told him I would pay just to get my keys back so I could leave. He charged me $520 for work that wasn't completed. He claimed they bumped the 3 stage up to a 5 which is a flat out lie. When I went inside to pay it was very dirty and full of things and it was obvious that he was living inside the office so I think that's why they didn't let me inside the night before. He started screaming that it was cash only but he had a square payment sign with apple pay/mastercard/visa etc. He knew he scammed me and wanted cash so there was no way I could dispute it. I told him I would only be paying with a card. That is when he began yelling homophobic slurs and profanities about the President saying "it's because of the f* in office that we are all starving here and trying to survive" which had nothing to do with anything we were talking about. He was completely unhinged. I took it to another detailer and they showed me under lights that there was no possible way any of the work was done that they claimed. Even the lightest cut would have taken out the small swirls. Do not go here.

Just saw sons truck “detailed” by a “best of Omaha” business(must’ve been 61 friends & fam votes)This job cost close to $500. The running boards are still dirty, the bugs are still stuck on front, the truck is not clean. TERRIBLE- REALLY TERRIBLE-SLACKY JOB DONE. We know it, The owner definitely knows it, anyone seeing it will notice nothing looking any different than a wash in your own front yard! Shame on this place, you’re blatantly ripping people off- and then want to be aggressive when called out on your terrible workmanship. To pull your “this President has the economy in such a bad place” comment shows you had no legitimate excuse for the non detail you did. Politics have nothing to do with you not doing the job you were paid to do- cussing customers out doesn’t help your case much either. I wish instead of just looking at your cover photo from 4 years ago, and just thumbing a few front page reviews that my family would’ve seen all reviews by pressing “lowest” in choices. This is not the first and I’m sure not the last of the negative experiences for customers or the negative reviews for you. There may have been a time years ago that you actually cared about your business..that time has obviously passed. 1 star is just because you have to give it to review. This place doesn’t warrant even one. *If you’re looking for a trustworthy, worth the price, detail job..this is not the place.

This customer has never had an interaction with Hometown Detailing. Her son made a purchase here, filing a fraudulent chargeback. This review is also fraudulent, as the customer has never been on the property, spoken to anyone on the phone here, nor any communication. The parents had every intention to evade payment for the customer (their son), as multiple discounts were requested before the purchase. This review should be removed as it is not valid.

Great Business to work with. Very punctual. We had the Google Ad deal and it looked better than new.

When I text about mobile detailing services from Hometown Detailing they gave me a price range & said they could do it "this week". They showed up two days later, at noon and talked to us about everything they would be doing. The owner said he would need to add a couple hundred dollars to the price because of the size of the job. We agreed to that. After the first day of work from the employee, we were worried about the poor quality, and that the employee had created extra fabric-ripping on the cover of the boat we were having detailed. The owner told us not to worry, that they would make everything right, and that the employee had a lot of experience and would do a great job. The next day when the employee returned at almost noon again, he worked until 6:30 p.m. stating he had finished the job. When we inspected it, the job was not finished. The employee tried to get us to give him money, even though the job was not done, and later-after we texted the owner to ask why the job wasn't complete even though the employee said it was- the owner texted to say that the employee never said he was finished. We heard excuse after excuse from the owner. The employee did come back again the day after, and had another employee join him to finish the buffing. When they were done, mid-afternoon, they again tried to get us to give them payment, in cash, so they wouldn't have to claim it for tax purposes-I have the text that states this. Each day, the owner upped the bill by hundreds of dollars, and the last day he upped it again by hundreds saying he was giving us a discount for the labor that the employees did the last day. Apparently it was OUR fault that the employees couldn't finish the job in 2 days. The owner even tried saying that he had thought from the beginning that we wouldn't want to pay for the job. We had made it clear that we were fine paying for the work that had been done. He also threatened us with a lien. Do NOT do business with this person.
