    I lost my job August 27th 2024 and canceled my blue moon fitness membership in person that same day in person, now I just got a call today November 23 2024 almost 3 months later stating I owe 209 dollars even though I canceled my membership which I was told a manager was going to call me and never did, as I told the lady that I was unemployed she stated that it will go to collections then since I can’t pay it even though it was canceled

    After I cancelled personal training the payments continued to come out of my account. The payments have now stopped, but I have been trying to get a refund on the payments that were made after I cancelled. I have spoken with two managers and neither one of them call me back with an answer. I am owed $660.00

    The BBB system does not give an option to email this to personnel, or I would do this myself.   I cannot see any of your contact info in this window...

    On another note, we are moving to using AI to answer our phones.  It will help us get more accurate info to anyone who calls in, and give us a better chance to audit the conversations.  The quality of staff has dropped dramatically since Covid and we are working to find solutions to the new challenges we face.

    I have been contacted by the General Manager and he has told the gym manager to "look into the situation" and keep in contact with me. 

    We shall see.

    My father recently passed away. We called Blue Moon to cancel his membership and were told they would have the manager return our call. The manager conveniently did not return the call and allowed another month of fees to be taken from the account. Upon seeing the charge I was told that we had to come in to cancel and that 30 days notice is required to cancel.

    Blue moon has refused to cancel my membership. I have personally gone in like they have said and sign two different paperwork and was explained this would be ok. One was a paper with name and signature. The front desk stated the manager was busy to get the other information but would call if issues. The next month billed. I went in the second time once again printed and signed a piece of paper requesting cancellation. The next month billed. Called the maple branch spoke to someone who says I have to came back in and sign again and he would not let me explain the situation and refused to get me information to speak to corporate. In fact both center and maple refused to give me any information. They also stated supervisor will call in the past if there were issues no no contact. They are taking peoples money. Also as of now will not refund the past months.

    Was told that after my 12 week program was completed, I would have to renew another contract if I wanted to continue with personal training. Never signed a second one and kept getting charged as if I had. 2 extra payments have been taken from my account without my consent totaling (492 dollars.) Instead of 6 bi weekly payments there was a total of 8. On top of that, the trainer kept canceling more often than rescheduling so everything feels scammy. I had to tell her to reschedule if not it wouldn’t get done and didn’t get done in multiple occasions. I want my money back.

    Blue Moon fraudulently drafted $300 out of my account on 6/20/2024. On 6/21/2024 ****** the Store Manager at Blue Moon in Bellevue said " you should not of been charged that and yes you will get a refund. Also, we are looking into this because it looks as though you were over charged even more". I was so happy to hear i would be getting my money back. He said it would take a week. Now it is being said 3 weeks and they cannot provide me with anyones name that is in corporate that can help? 3 weeks is a long time. I have bills i have to pay now. When you call the corporate number they are rude and refuse to give you any higher ups phone number? **** ****** can you call me?

    I went for my free tour in February and had signed up with the promise of 1 month free. I did not have my check book so he agreed to take a credit card. My first payment was set to be in April. I went in for my coaching session and was harassed to purchasing coaching that I did not sign up for. I noticed then that they had withdrawn a payment from my credit card. I cancelled with the manager in a text. He said he would take care of the payment.

    I have gotten over 1k of money taken out of my account. My account gets charged $19 3x a month when I was told by ***** that I wouldn’t be charged until January so we could resolve this issue. I have been trying to figure this issue out since September or before then and ***** never reaches back out to me even after my trainer reached out and even a close friend reached out to him that goes to that gym.I have the recipes for every transaction and their is prof over 1k has been taken from me, all my other transactions went towards my training.

    I had been a member of Blue Moon Fitness, formerly Golds Gym for over 20 years. The business was closed suddenly and they sold my checking account information to 24 hour fitness who has been charging me for a monthly membership I did NOT agree to. The owners of Blue Moon are fraudulent in their actions and refuse to rectify the situation. Very disappointing for a company to do this after so many years of doing business with them.
