    I worked over 40 hrs for this company and they refused to pay me saying I only worked 3 hrs i have witnesses to my hrs

    I have reached out to the hotel while I was there and after, along with Expedia, however they are telling me they will not refund or discount my stay at all. Stay away from this rundown, overpriced, deplorable, hazardous hotel. I came with my partner and my kids, who were looking forward to the pool. Pool is closed until further notice. Refused to give any sort of discount due to no pool. Got worse from there. Bathroom light broke and instead of fixing light switch, they just put a new one in 10 inches above the old one. Literally looks like the building is falling apart (light fixtures falling from ceiling, mirror in bathroom hanging off wall, toilet not caulked to flour, missing toilet paper holder, marks all over walls, trash from housekeeping sitting in hallway our entire weekend stay, signs not allowed to bring breakfast back to bedroom, juice machine broken but gallon bottles provided, dried out bread/bagels/muffins, cereal dispenser flings cereal everywhere, security door Lock smashed and does work, trip hazards all over hallways. What takes the cake? Dirty adult diaper found in bathroom. Their excuse when we brought up concerns? New ownership.

    This place needs to be shut down. The most disgusting motel I have EVER stayed at. Sketchy people out front begging for cigarettes and had all their belongings scattered on the ground by the front door. The lobby has paint peeling,wires hanging out of the walls. The breakfast area was NOTHING like what was on the website,VERY unsanitary and dirty. False advertisement about pool and hot tub apparently is closed all summer,pictures on website look nothing like the real thing,landscaping is hideous. Multiple guests left without even staying there. I would have but couldn't find a room available anywhere due to lots of activities in town.

    sgusting. The door was covered up by a Blistex Chapstick wrapper , the soaps that were left for us to use like a shampoo and conditioner and a little lotion were reused because they were completely empty and one had just very little in it. Such a disappointing experience, we came all the way from Austin for a wedding, and it was the worst hotel ever. Onto the service of the staff. They were rude not polite. We asked housekeeping how we could get our trash taken out. They told us that we would have needed to let them know the day before before noon which there's no sign posted. We were there for three days and we had just trash fill up our little bin, which was the smallest bin. The curtains didn't close all the way so it was just a very uncomfortable stay the air conditioner whenever you turn it on that was a very musty, stale smell the restrooms don't have any vents, so whatever happens in the restroom stays wafting throughout the room. Do not stay here. You will be very disappointed.

    If I could give -0 star I would! This place was so bad my daughter was crying, because she was so scared swas that the front desk guy was going to come into our room while we were sleeping. I don't even know where to start so I'll give a few brief examples, for starters, no hot water, shower was broken and falling apart, air conditioner full of food and not working, front desk clerk kicked in a door and told another guest he eats all the left overs people leave in their rooms and that he had a master key and could go anywhere he wants, police were called, pretty sure after the police came he went and dug some kind of drug parifinalia out the plant out front. The whole hotel smelled of pot, hot tub didn't work properly, ice machines and vending machines not working, Front desk clerk yelled at me and numerous other guest, when I nicely told him if he approached people differently he would get completely different reactions he flipped out on me and said he's so good at his job his boss buys him mcdonalds. Sheets were dirty, front desk clerk told me he had Jesus in his heart and the devil on his shoulder, I then told him that he was the devil and he put his hands in the air and gave the Villan laugh. I asked who was in charge because I was filing a complaint and he told me the Indian, and he's not here until tom orrow and good luck getting a hold of him. When I told the front desk clerk that this place needs shut down, he said, we'll they are already working on it but were working on things, we already cocked the hot tub...I just simply can not explain this experience, it's so bad and it seems that no matter what we do, we will definitely not be getting our money back because this place os impossible to deal with. I will be getting hold of corporate and the Manger tomorrow morning and will attempt to take this to the highest people possible.

    Worst experience of my life! When I got there and checking in I had to call for someone to come to front desk when he arrived he smelled like weed. After, handing me my keys he insisted on walking me to my room. I'm a young female who was staying alone. I left to get food and come back to the hotel and go up to my room my keys don't work. I go back downstairs to get new keys but again had to call for him to come to front desk. When he gets there and starts issuing my new cards he says "I went into your room and noticed the heater wasn't running or working so I changed the batteries for you! He hands me my keys and said "I'll walk you to your room" I said no!! He said "I insist" I said absolutely not! Get into room not even in there 5 minutes. I grabbed my stuff and got out of there! I filed a police report! And the manager wasn't going to refund me money back! This place isn't safe and is falling apart front doors are broke so anyone can walk into hotel in middle of night!!

    If it wasn't for driving for 10 hours with 2 small kids in the car and we were extremely exhausted we would never have stayed the night! Lobby ceiling falling apart, hallway carpet sticky and filthy, key cards do not work, ants all over the room especially the bathroom, only one set of towels in a room meant for 4, vending machines don't work, entry door has no latch or lock on it just a hole where the lock used to be, breakfast consisted of 3 pieces of bread, 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 stale rolls, 6 mini muffins, one kind of cold cereal (cheerios) but no milk, waffles but there was no syrup, no juice either this was at 7:30am. I want a full refund!

    We booked a room at the AmericInn for a Friday and Saturday night August 12-13, 2022 stay through *************. After checking in we decided not to stay the second night because the hotel was dirty and in bad shape. We notified the hotel desk clerk on Friday that we wanted to cancel our reservation for Saturday night. He told us that we needed to contact ********* to handle the cancellation. On Friday we contacted ********* and they told us they would need to contact the hotel for authorization and would get back to us in two business days. We checked out of the hotel on Saturday morning.

    We did not hear back from ********* in two business days. On Thursday of the following week I called ********* and after talking with three agents got ********* to call the AmericInn. I was not a participant on the AmericInn-********* call but was on hold with ********* during that call. ********* came back on the line and told me that the AmericInn would charge us for both nights stating that the booking was prepaid and it was AmericInn's policy not to provide a refund.

    We have not received any written response from ********* to date explaining why we were not provided a refund for the second night.
