We tried to get a loan for less than 80% of our homes value. Turn in countless paperwork they asked for paid and appraisal, that turned out good. They said we were good to go. Then need more documents, good to go, more stupid documents and then asked us to tear a garage down which was part of why we needed the money to have it tore down and rebuilt In first place.they are a joke in my opinion. String you along then tell you they keep needing more. Do not recommend to anyone.

Terrible, They mailed me a pamphlet in the mail for their hospital identity insurance. I immediately think and believe this is a good value as we have had Covid hospitalizations in the past. So I sign up and they approve it then after a 17 day stay in the hospital 6 months later they come back they I’m not qualified for the policy but they didn’t have a probably drafting avg payments for 6 months. Feel like the policy is misleading, false advertising and this lay you in 24 hours is for the birds it’s been 3 weeks and I have had to call multiple times to find out that they are not planning to pay me anything at all!!

buyer beware!! Read carefully the 1 star reviews on this forum. My wife who just completed her 2nd round of chemo was (we thought) a candidate for a claim after paying nearly $40000 over the course of 16 years. When we tried to initiate a claim we were challenged with a list of "qualifiers" longer than constitution and the bill of rights. After laboriously wading through the multitude of questions, we proceeded to the medical professional verifications that required all releases of all medical records for the previous 2 years. The company also needed physician statements justifying the need for the claim. I understand these needs no one should perpetrate fraud even on a multi billion dollar (51+ billion 2019) company. The kicker for me was when I was told I would have to provide 60 continuous days of PROFESSIONAL home health care before the policy picked up the responsibility. We live in a remote area where finding a professional home health aide is difficult at best at a cost of an average $21 per hour. 8 hrs * $21= $168 dollars per day X 60 days = $10,080 in additional cost!!! Now lets see we have just ran the gauntlet of 5 years medical and pharmaceutical cost on a retired fixed income, and now the "policy" we thought might be some relief is essentially out of reach. When I queried the agent about the closing the policy and (because there was never a claim) reclaiming some of the monies I was told if I closed the policy I would lose everything, there was no recourse to recovering the money. When I asked where the monies were the representative informed me they were held in my policy. Friends I was never told by the agent about the "additional responsibility" If I had been I would have rethought the policy ; either paying an additional charge to get the cost of the homecare waived, or perhaps forgone the policy completely. Shame on you Mutual of Omaha shame on this Multi billion dollar Behemoth for playing games with peoples well being and finances. If you

I purchased an accident policy in November 2024. I was told over the phone that if I did not make any claims on the plan, I would receive my premiums in full after a year. After trying to cancel the policy and get the premiums back, I was told to refer to a table far down an agreement showing I would get 100% of premiums back, after 30+ years. Just another example of sleazy salespeople walking you through something, promising things that aren't the same in ink.

The company is a big joke. I went out of work on a short term disability leave. End of August they paid me for a month. My doctor extended my leave for another month due to my health. They denied my short term disability. I was forced to come back to work cause I was not getting paid from them or my job. I could not go find another job due to my doctor orders and not getting dropped from my insurance with them. I'm still having problems to where I don't sleep good and my condition was not solved. My doctor changed my meds 3 different times in the first month due to me not sleeping. I had to lie on a survey for my doctor to release me cause he had wanted me out until December of this year to deal with me not sleeping and it not being able to drive. I had to make the choice to stay home and deal with my health or go lie to go back to work so I can take care of my kid and make sure we had a roof over our head. I'm still not able to drive so my fiance has to wake up every morning to bring me to work. Sad that you have to choose your lively hood and well being over your health. This company sucks and I will be dropping them as so as I can find another provider. I hope my company drop them also when open enrollment comes around. It's sad we pay money for health insurance and we can't get the help we need from a health insurance company we pay money to every week.

I workd with Aaron M***** and I advised him my situation and it was not good. He was so good at telling me he could help that I believed him. He advised me not to pay my current mortgage because he was getting us a new loan. I tell you when I was bad I mean I was two months late on my car and had a terrible history paying my mortgage due to a botched home sale that fell through. So yes shame on me for believing him and word to the wise do not let them do a hard pull on your credit because they say "you got it", go somewhere else who will give you the real deal. I learned the hard way and now I am almost homeless.

Couldn’t have had a more aggravating experience. I spent over a year processing and sending more than 35 different versions of the same two claims I had for two knee surgeries only to receive complete claim denial, without a response that ever made any sense. Would recommend using absolutely any other insurance company than Mutual of Omaha

Omg! This company is so disappointing and lies about payout! My mom had insurance with them for a very long time and paid them faithfully. My mom passed away on October 29,2024. Every week the check is being mailed out. They will tell it takes up 15 days but I called in November no pay out I owed the funeral home and they think I’ll lying Dec no pay out this lady paid them alots of money exceeding $10,000 insurance. This is very serious for them to play with a love one burial and they aren’t been able to payout on time.
