1-16-23 $732.11 paid for a remanufactured alternator. 2 days later the car overheated on the highway & it was discovered the belt broke. Based on the frayed condition of the belt, marks on the new pully, and marks on the old pullies, it is obvious the belt was installed improperly causing the failure. I have pictures of all of this. As a result of the overheating caused by this, the radiator split under extreme heat & pressure. The car was towed back & charged $45.48 to tell us the belt was broken & radiator was split, we already knew this. They wanted $750.00 to fix it stating a "master mechanic" worked on the car, so no way could the belt be installed improperly. Car was repaired elsewhere. Looking for them to sell the alternator at their cost ($269.00) & refund the $45.48 as we already knew this was the problem. I believe this is reasonable as they still make the labor & don't lose on the part. Total refund would be $289.09. I have been leaving messages for the owner since January & have not received a call back. I'm being told he is the only 1 who can help me & he's rarely in the building. I find this to be a unlikely way to run a business.

I have a problem with being charged for new ceramic brakes and installation below and getting a cheaper replacement brake that make noise when using brakes. Then being told they are not ceramic brakes they are cheaper metallic brakes that were used. My vehicle service history has the part numbers listed, when I called the place where they get their parts the Parts person stated the part # ****** was Ceramic Brake kit not metallic. See below: Duralast Gold Ceramic Brake Pads ****** Part # ****** SKU # ******* limited lifetime warranty Limited-Lifetime Warranty Fits your 2019 Hyundai Truck Tucson Sport AWD Location: Rear Notes: Ceramic, *OE Performance with smooth, quiet stopping power, ultra-low dust I call because my brakes are 10 months old and start making rubbing noises and squeaking noises when applying brakes, for the person to tell me that is normal. I'm sorry no it is not normal for brakes to make that kind of noise in short time of replacement and telling me there is no warrantee on their service. If they installed the Ceramic brakes that I was charges this would not be an issue 10 months later. They told me they could change the brakes from metallic to ceramic, I would have to pay for the replacement. And told me again the brakes are fine, and that noise is normal. I have had several cars and brakes should never make that kind of noise unless they were worn down and need to be replaced. I paid for this service for ceramic brakes as my invoice clearly shows the parts number they were supposed to use, that is what I was charged for. Instead, they put cheap brake kits on my vehicle. I clearly expressed I am very upset and give them the chance to make this right. Only to be told I would have to pay for them to replace the brakes to the correct brakes I originally paid for. Both front and back brakes I paid for ceramic low noise they need to fully refund me for scamming me on the brakes. I feel because I am a women they took advantage of that.
