Last night it got cold. It wasn’t until late that we discovered we had no oil! DF Richard Energy company had cut our service without notice!!!! No phone call, nothing. When I called this morning they acknowledged getting a half payment (for a $1600 bill, usually $800) on Jan 16 but apparently they don’t accept partial payments so they just cut the power. Oh, they did put a letter about it in the mail on Friday. We have yet to receive it. Do they know that two little boys were cold last night? That I have been suffering from bronchitis and kidney disease and PTSD and now have to worry about this? No, because they just want their money. It’s all about greed. Do oil companies think that just because they double their prices that our salaries also double to cover it? What kind of Dover community based company wouldn’t just call, or even leave a note at the door? When I called to cancel, “Christine” was horrible. Interruptive, nasty comments, disinterested in anything I was saying. Terrible representation of a company. She could have saved the day, but instead she had to be right. Never again.
