I responded to a ********** ad for a ******* car. Before I went to look at it I was told it would pass inspection no problem (*******). The car look ok from the top, however after purchasing it and seeing the rust underneath it was obvious this car wont pass inspection. I asked for my money back and even offered to give them the 300 delivery fee and was told no, that Im delusional basically. That everything had been recorded on video and that theres nothing wrong with the car. I now am having to contact salvage yards to try to sell this car to recoup any money back that I can. I cannot sell this piece of c*** to anyone else because I have a conscience. I also couldnt without paying tax and registration on it first. Im a single mother and I cant afford to do all that just to have a car that wont pass inspection. Dont buy anything from these people its all lies and deception and once they have your money, they will not stand behind anything.Business response

This car not a rot box. The complete undercarriage was undercoated and ******* had the photos I sent her. It previously had some small surface rust. All vehicles are sold as is as seen. We even provided a bill of sale that she has. We absolutely never guarantee out if state inspections. This was a Vermont sale. We cannot dictate nor do we know what passes or fails in ******** The car in question did previously pass a New Hampshire state inspection. It was even currently driven around as the dealers personal everyday car until he retired just recently. The car runs great and shifts smooth. The exhaust is quiet and tires good. I have absolutely no idea why she has buyers remorse and is complaining here.Customer response

First of all I did not even realize I was buying something from a dealer.I was not provided paper plates. The car was not inspected and I didnt receive the proper disclosure according to my state law. A non owner of the vehicle signed the bill of sale. The back of the title was not filled out. I was told to fill it out. I drove it for less than 20 miles and found out the transmission was bad. The underneath was not under coated, it was spray painted. I asked for my money back two hours after I paid ********. I am working with the nh dmv dealer and inspection office. I am currently seeking legal representation.

I first went to look at a truck that was advertised in early Nov, when I arrived was told they had sold that truck but they could set me up with a plow truck for $5000.00 They showed me a truck in the yard that looked solid and was told it only needed the oil pan to be replaced. If I would put $500. 00 down they would go ahead and fix that as well check brakes and call me within the week. After almost two weeks I called and was told that when they started work on the truck it was deemed to have bad fuel pump and to fix it was to expensive and time consuming but they had another Ford F350 with plow that although the body was not in great shape it was a reliable truck that they had used regularly for plowing the previous winter and only needed one brake caliper replaced and it’s batteries to be charged. The following week I went to look at it it was started and I drove part way around the lot when the plow partially dropped and I stopped the truck. I noted a coolant leak and plow lights were not working. Was told they would fix leak and replace the lights. Was told batteries were in good shape. Was told at this point that in order for them to complete the work I needed to pay the full balance. I offered to pay another Thousand to cover the work but they refused my offer. I payed them the balance for Ford F350 truck with plow on Nov 30 2023. On Dec 20 they had the truck delivered by tow truck. Driver started the truck an we drove it of into my driveway and parked it. Next day batteries completely dead and when I called was told that they would purchase brand new batteries and come to install them next day. Nobody came and when I tried to call no response and no response to repeated texts. Because of the holidays and travel I didn’t continue but on Jan.5 had mechanic come to see if we could start the truck. Tested batteries junk, no coolant when coolant added, immediate leaking. With new batteries installed it would crank but oil pressure dropped to below normal.Business response

The customer looked at this truck 3 times. He drove it 2 times. It was not a site unseen deal. We fixed fog lights and put in used batteries. Ran fine. He paid for it. He told us it was just a yard ruck for his driveway only.
This was a rusty 24 year old truck.with almost 300,000 miles.
This wasnt to be on the road or pass inspection. He bought vehicle as is as seen as shown. Non inspected. I cant control what brakes down the road or even after used for the first time. If need be we can peovide the bill of sale.that clearly states as is as seen signed by both parties.

I was told the radiator leak would be fixed before delivery and it clearly wasn't as the truck was delivered without any coolant in the system. They apparently also masked the oil pressure problem so the truck was able to run for a bit again they misrepresented the engine as being reliable and in good condition.Sincerely,

I have an issue involving the company New England Dieselz LLC. I needed to purchase an inspection ready car and specifically requested that in person and over text message. The first car I purchased from the company was a 2005 Ford Escape requiring me to trade in a 2009 Lexus RX350 at the value of $1500.00 and pay an additional $1500.00 over cash app to one of their employees. The car failed inspection the day I purchased it because of a completely rotted frame. I contacted the boss (Brendan # ************) and the employee (Dylan R**** # ************- who also mentioned to me that he has been driving without a license for the company and that Brendan had knowledge of this) to work out another deal. I had to wait to receive the Ford title in the mail per the companies request (even though they gladly accepted my Lexus for trade in without a title) and had to spend over $900.00 on a U-Haul since I am unable to drive said car. I traded the Ford for another car on their lot a 2008 Hyundai Elantra again being promised it will pass inspection the day I picked it up and even making Dylan sign a paper stating he will fix all inspection items within a week (but he predated the note 6-10-23 without my knowledge when it should have read 7-13-23). I spent $200.00 having the Ford towed back to their lot and the Elantra failed inspection the day of pickup AND the day after pick up due to emission issues. I contacted Dylan this time to try to process a refund. I called Dylan’s phone number and the boss picked up and proceeded to scream at me through the phone and hang up on me because I requested a refund. Instead of continuing to deal with a business owner acting erratically I texted the same number I called and said “That's no issue you'll be seeing me in court thank you.” New England Dieselz scammed me out of a $1500.00 Lexus trade-in (they did receive the title) and $1500.00 cash on top of requiring me to pay over $1100.00 for transportation due to a broken promise.Business response

Hello and good day to you.
A customer showed up with $1500 to spend and a 2008 Lexus Rx350 looking to trade in. Helper Dylan asked what they felt the trade value was of their vehicle? They said around $1500? Dylan then explained we have a customer car here for $3000 but it's as is but with a little work we may be able to get it inspected. He noticed engine light was on the Lexus and was told it needed a tune up. The next day I looked over Lexus and agreed engine light was on and we could take it in for $1500. We did a deal for 2005 ford escape, a customer car that was at our shop. She picked that one and paid 1500 and trade in. At that point she registered it. It was inspected and she drove off. Sold as is as seen as shown no warranty and no lemon law in nh on used cars. The vehicle overheated a week later and she demanded we take it back and her boyfriend called threatening us. In good faith and becauee we didnt want any trouble we took it back which we didn't need to do legally. Also I had her trade in looked at "the Lexus" and found out engine light was on because there was an internal issue with the Lexus. I assumed at this point, that's why she traded it in, not because it needed a tune up but because it needed an engine. I had it professionally looked at and was told it needs a new engine. I have the repair order from the garage. An engine is about $5800 installed. I told her that her $1500 trade in is worth only $500 because it's just a junk car now. Regardless I still rook it in and gave her $1500 credit. My daughters car a 2008 Hyundai Elantra we swapped out for the Ford Escape. We did several things at our cost to bring it up to par for safety inspection. She registered it and it passed safety inspection at local garage. Her engine light came on a few days latrr and she called us and demanded her money back and her boyfriend threatened us again. At this point I felt we did everything and above on our part. I told her do not contact is again. So I assume that's why she reached out to BBB.
I will absolutely fix her engine light and cover all labor if she just covers the part that it needs which I assume would be under 100 maybe an oxygen sensor or something. The car would need to be dropped off. I don't want her boyfriend here. This is more than fair on our part to make this right. Thank you for your understanding and feel free to contact me anytime.
