    July of 2023 RCH Sealcoating sealed my driveway. In March of 2024 I noticed some peeling of the driveway where they had sealed. I made 3 phone calls before I got my first response 4/2/24 by voicemail requesting a photo. I sent **** a photo. Called to follow up and got no response. Called again and received another voicemail on 4/18/24 stating that they would fix the problem as soon as the weather got a bit warmer. Not hearing any response or seeing any action taken I called them on 7/9, 7/10 and 7/11. I left messages all 3 times and have not receive any response. All I am looking for is repair to the section that is peeling. The communication is terrible (as I have read in some reviews) and I just want to make certain they fix my driveway.

    I apologize for my late response.  We do have you on the books to re-seal your driveway.  From my understanding our salesperson did contact the customer and let him know that we would be there in 2 weeks to seal his driveway.  I think you may have been calling the salespersons phone. Please in the future call the office directly. That way we can take care of any issues right away. Our office number is on the proposal you received. ************. We were not trying to avoid fixing it for you because we do have a guarantee with our sealcoating I think it was just not communicated to us to get you on the schedule.  We appreciate your patience.

    Last summer I paid RCH Driveway Sealing 350 dollars to seal my driveway. The guy did a nice job and the driveway looked good. However, I noticed this spring after the ice and snow was all gone, that there were a few "bare spots" in my driveway where it appears that whatever they applied to the driveway washed away. I was under the impression that this type of issue was covered under their warranty. So I called them and told them the problem and asked if someone could stop by my house and take a look at my driveway. I never got a call back. In fact, I called 4 times and never a call back. So, I have decided that apparently that's the way they do business. I have spoken to a couple of other people who have had similar experiences as me, and red some online reviews where they were given one star reviews because they don't return phone calls. This is one of those companies, that once they get your money, they don't want to know you.

    We have been in contact with this customer and have sent his information to our sales person.  He will go out and look at his driveway.  We were slow on getting back to our customers this year because we didn't have the staff at the time to send anyone out.  We are  now trying, still to get a full crew for all our services this year. We will always honor our warranty for our customers and hope to fix this to his satisfaction. We have been in business for over 30 years and don't forget about our customers.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    It took about half a dozen phone calls to the company before someone called me back.

    That was in the middle of April and the person I spoke to said he would be out to my house the

    first week in May.  Nobody ever showed up, so I started calling again.  The phone was answered by a

    polite young lady and she said she would forward my message to Paul and that he would call me back.

    I called 4 or 5 times over the past 2 weeks and nobody ever returned my calls.

    Today I called and the girls said that she was giving my messages to Paul and then asked me

    If I wanted his phone number.  I said yes, and when I called his number I got a voice mail.  I left my name

    and number, and he did call me back shortly.  He promised that he would be at my house on Monday morning..

    So now we will wait and see what happens on Monday.

    Please understand...we didn't have the staff to come out to fix our work if it needed to be redone so we had to wait.  Paul has spoken to Mr. **** prior to his complaint and told him when our season starts he will be out to look at the driveway.  We have not seal coated one driveway yet and won't be until Mid June if we can get the material and the crew members ready.  Please be patient.  We are doing all we can at the moment.
