    On December 26th, 2023, around 7PM, I received a phone call via my banking's fraud ***** regarding 2 separate transactions by Barbour Inc. which I recognized on the phone as fraud immediately. One transaction in the amount of $1,045.94 and another for the amount $1,061.88. Immediately, on the phone with my bank the debit card used for these purchases was cancelled. They purchases were finalized according to bank records on 12/28/23 The following days I went to my bank and received a new debit card and followed their protocol for the disputed two transactions. The bank claimed todo an investigation where they said the transactions were made through a Mastercard 3d services and could not refund my money. I then proceeded to call Barbour Inc. to try to find out where and to who the transactions were sent to, to file a fraud case with them or solely myself through the correct authorities, when I was on the phone with Barbour on 1/25/2024, they informed me they could not/ would not look up the charges and proceeded to laugh at me over the phone. Now, I am filing a complaint to what is fraud and theft with no help from the company or banking system which I will also be filing a complaint to the BBB to look for some type of reconciliation in this matter. I would like to know that this is not happening to multiple people who are financially struggling and can not take this type of loss, in a system that should be insured and from a company that seems to have some sort of scheme going themselves, to laugh at someone who according to my records has lost over two thousand dollars with their company with no remorse or assistance in the matter.

    Response to BBB Communication received on 2/5/24.

    I have not had any communication with the company, nor have they tried to reach me regarding my complaint.
    I continue to be very unsatisfied with the company and have not received any sort of reconciliation in this matter.

    Additional Information: I do not know the exact title for the woman, I spoke to at Barbour Inc. In ************* however, her name was *****. She specifically told me they would not look for the transactions made against my account, and proceeded to laugh at me when I requested assistance in this matter. It seems the BBB has had about as much or less cooperation with this issue then I have which was the main reason for my complaint of this business.
