    August 15th 2024 ***** ****** came to my house. He stated that my roof was in need of immediate replacement. That Monarch Roofing provided 0% financing for the full amount for 17 months. I would also receive a 50 year transferrable warranty on the roof.I applied where ***** ****** directed and worked on establishing the 0% financing. After repeated phone calls multiple high interest loans were offered once I provided proof of income. I asked ***** ****** to return my money as the 0% interest loans are not available to me.There have been countless emails between us. His email to me today was abusive. I would be happy to provide all of our online correspondence if the BBB would find it useful in resolving this matter. Many Thanks.

    *** ******** called us out for a roof eval because she said she needed a new roof. After the Eval we put together a quote and we discussed that 0% financing was an option that we had- it was never promised as we have no idea what type of borrower she is. she wanted to put down a deposit of $3000 to reserve her install date as we were booking out months in advance. It explicitly said in our quote that the 10% scheduling deposit is non refundable. I immediately got to work getting *** financed, the lender decided that based on her income limitations they could only offer $10k at 0% but would finance the rest as traditional financing. *** was upset by this and insinuated that we lied to her and that she didnt want to do it anymore because we didnt get her 0% financing. I tired to explain to her why this happened. *** then told us she was going to get financing via her bank as the rates were better. A week before the scheduled install date I asked *** for proof of financing or a finance letter from the bank, she assured me she had it and we were good to move forward with the work as scheduled.  So I presented her with a contract. She then got very upset and She demanded her money back, I explained to her that we had lost out on 2 scheduled install dates at our busiest time of year due to her deceit. We also ordered the dumpster, crews, and all the materials and buildout from our supplier Lansing, and had to cancel the order and delivery and everything else at the last minute, costing us more time and money.

    I believe she wanted us to do the work with no ability or intention of paying us for it as no loan was ever requested.

    No such thing as non-refundable deposit. All that ***** ****** claims is false

    We have worked this out with the customer via email this week. 

    We have agreed to both drop the matter and resolve the complaint filings, remove the various reviews, and refund her the $3000 deposit. 

    We will be doing this by business check in the next day or as the customers schedule allows. 

    What is the best way to proceed here to confirm the complaint is cancelled/resolved?

    Good Morning BBB,

    My complaint about Monarch Roofing is not resolved

    ***** ****** told me in an email yesterday that he was going to send me a check.

    I cannot state that the problem is resolved until I deposit his check and it has cleared
