My debit card was used to purchase a car wash ($20) on Sunday, 11/3/2024. Hours later, I got a notification from my bank's fraud department to verify some pending transactions. When I looked at my bank account, it was completely drained of almost $2,000. The debit card used to purchase the car wash had only been used at this facility. I do not know if there was a skimmer to steal card information or if there is a security issue with the card processor, however, there is nobody available to discuss this with as the telephone numbers associated with the car wash are not legitimate phone numbers ************** and **************. I tried both as well as attempted to see if there was an attendant at the location to discuss this matter with.

On Jan 12, I paid 23 dollars for the best wash available. The machine malfunctioned and it never rinsed the cleaner off. Then, I went to the bay tor rinse it off. I put 5 dollars into the bay, and when it turned on, the hose had a hole and completely soaked my clothes. I then had to move to a different bay and spend 12 dollars. This was incredibly frustrating and I should be refunded.

On 2/14/23 I put $20 cash into change machine and only got back $3 in quarters. I called phone number listed and left message. I heard from someone ~ 1 week later stating she was unable to reimburse me my $17 but offered car wash vouchers in exchange. I explained my car is too big to use the drive through washes and needed to use the self service bay and she said she would have to call me back. I have not received any calls back. I have tried calling and now the number is not working.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Tilton's Touchless Car Wash called me and asked for my mailing address and mailed me my refund.  I was only expecting $17 (because the change machine gave me $3 in quarters when I put a $20 in) but they sent me a check for $20.  I waited to contact you until I received the check (and I wasn't sure what they were going to send).  So I am happy that they refunded the money.  I feel it is probably because I reached out to your guys at BBB.  Thank you for your help!

    Sincerely,

    *** ******

On 2/6/2023 at about 1 pm I pulled up to the auto car wash paid $14 cash for the Deluxe car wash. When it was my turn to enter the bay i noticed the under car spray was not working and the pull forward light kept blinking and never changed to stop. The rear door never closed but the front one did. I tried to back up and go forward again to activate the wash cycle. It never engaged the door opened and I exited the wash bay. I have tried calling the phone number listed several times but it just rings several times before it goes to a fax machine sounding tone. I would like a full refund.

I used this touchless carwash bay 2 on 1/29/23 @ 934Am and the wash did not finish washing my car and left it all soaped up. So I had to try bay 1 of the touchless carwash. I inserted a $20 bill for the $10 wash and had not received my $10 change as it did not dispence it to me as on the reciept I have that explains the transaction. So I am out $10 for the 1st incompete wash of my car and no change of $10 from my second wash I inserted a $20 bill. In total I am owed $20. $10 from the incompleted wash and $10 from the $20 from my 2nd wash

On Sunday 5/16/2022 I paid $12 for a deluxe wash. I drove in and the light up to the left "drive forward" with the flashing green light would not change to "stop". I backed up and drove forward multiple times to try and trip the sensor. The wash did not work and the service I paid for was not rendered.
