I took my dog here twice with no significant issues, but the third time the owner showed very bad customer service and was rude to me. I was running late and scrambling to get there. Even though they were aware of the delay they cancelled my appointment while I was driving there and refused to take my dog in upon arrival. The owner then proceeded to charge $40 for no show, after refusing to take my dog in on a 20 minute delay.I was shocked at how bad we were treated especially because prior to this event i felt we had a good and affable business relationship. Also note that the pricing is not ever broken down by services, nor are you given a receipt. They keep the dogs in crates for long hours. Be warned, the customer service is unpredictable and they care more about making a quick buck than about your dog or long standing business relationship.Als

Thank you very much for your review as you continue to slam social media with your comments. There is honestly nothing wrong here, you are just very upset that your dog cannot be serviced and are mad because you did not respect our time or policy. You had an appointment, you missed your appointment. We canceled your appointment and you still decided to show up even after we told you we could not take you. Im sorry that you cannot get your way. We work with live animals. And we divide our time evenly with every pet to insure that they are safely groomed. We do not keep any animal in cages, for as long as we need them too. Pets are only in cages when they are waiting for their owners or waiting for services to start, while we set up for them. Please make sure that the next time you decide to write a review that your facts are correct. There is no need to go around social media re-commenting and saying the same post. Below is a copy of our response to you from ******* ********* policy will stand as is with no exceptions. Everyone in my salon is treated equally, and we expect the same respect in return. You tried to bribe us with money to keep your pet after hours and buy our time. That is unacceptable and disrespectful. You got exactly the same respect you gave us, after you tried to bribe us. We are a salon that is respected by many and our clientele list is over 20 years in. I stand strong with my employees for how we handled the situation because you are a prime example of why many groomers quite or salons close down. People like you make us feel like we need you and you have control of our policies and you do not. You are no longer welcome to our store. Please do yourself a favor and stop with the social media slander. Or I will bring this up to my attorney, this is cyber bully and defamation of character, you are being ridiculous.(Our response to this owner on their ****** review)Thank you for your review. Unfortunately that was not the chain of events. So lets review since ****** does not allow us as owners to post photos. I will just copy and paste our text conversation so that other future clients can understand better. As it states in our policy if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we will have to cancel the appointment and there is a cancellation fee. You were 40 minutes late. You were given a text message two days prior to your appointment as a reminder and then again at 8 AM the day of your appointment. Your appt was at 11:30am. When we sent you the cancellation text for your appt, by that time it was 11:59am. You did not reply until 12:02pm saying that you were on your way, in which we replied that your appointment was for 11:30am. You are now more than a half an hour late and I can no longer take your dog today. There will be a $40 fee today for cancellation. You continued to say that you were on your way and when you arrived at 12:10pm we told you that our next appointment was already here and we will not be able to take your pet. Then you tried to bribe us by giving us more money to do your pet. Please remember that we do have video footage and text message to back up this response. Our schedule is set so that every pet is done as safely as possible in a timely manner. We can not accept a pet that is late for their appointment throwing the schedule off and causing us to run behind and keep pets longer than necessary. Please remember that you said that day that we could just keep Bubbles and stay late to do him. You were willing to leave your pet till after closing and pay extra if we would take him that day. You also said you would pay more if we would just do him that day to which we responded that we will not stay after closing and that your money does not add time to our schedule or allow us to groom faster to get everyone done on time.(Photo to follow in our ****** photos)

Five hours and 40 minutes for a basic groom. On my 2nd visit to *****************. My 12 lb dog's appointment was at 11:30 and we got there 5 mins before. All I wanted was a full service groom w no extras. I was told that it would be 2 to 3 hours. Though I knew that was considerably longer than all of my grooming visits in the past, I took into consideration that it was a Saturday and they offer specialty services. I called at 3pm to check on my dog who had now been there 3.5 hours. When I called I was immediately told that ****** had gotten really busy and that my dog would be finished somewhere between 4-4:30, (5 hours). I was upset about the fact that she had been there for all of that time without food, water or a walk. I went there to check on her with a biscuit in hand and asked ****** how much longer (4pm at this time) and she tells me 4:30-5. My dog was left neglected in a cage for HOURS while other clients had been serviced and left. My dog was finally finished at 5:10 pm 5 hours and 40 mins for a wash, blow, cut and nail clip. When I went in to finally pick up my dog ****** felt it was a good idea to "tell me something about grooming" which is that it's not uncommon for a basic grooming to *********** hours in which I can't seem to find anyone who would agree with that statement. When I got to the car my dog drank half a bottle of water in a matter of seconds and devoured a large biscuit. To say that you love and care for pets as if they were children and then toss them in a crate without food, water or a walk for hours upon hours is not true. My guess is they glance at them periodically to see if they're still alive. My dog was left stressed and refused to get in the car 3 times after the visit for fear that I was taking her back there. I've learned that former customers had the same upsetting experience as I did but apparently you can have negative reviews removed which is horrible as you can't make informed decisions.
