This business is illegally withholding my RV (a **** Carriage Cameo), has illegally booted it and is attempting to use it to extort me for money which I do not owe them.Per an agreement with another, unrelated individual, this person was to return my RV in or around September 2021. Instead, they advised (against the agreement) to dump it at the Camden County Airport. I contacted the airport and spoke to an employee, ***************************. **** advised that they would turn away the vehicle and do not make agreements w/ non-titleholders. Despite this, *************************** (the owner) made an agreement and took my vehicle, and when I contacted him w/ proof of ownership, hung up the phone on me. **** has repeatedly ignored email communication, hung up the phone on me, etc. I've visited, the vehicle is booted. The police have visited, and confirmed I am the owner. After 7+ months, **** has finally responded and is now demanding $700 if I want the vehicle unbooted. The ****** *********** have advised I do not owe this money. I would *** him, as the police have suggested/directed, but I live nowhere close. Please assist. This is attempted extortion.Documents available upon request, but there are too many non-responded to emails and police reports that I'd have to assemble. It's a lot.

responding to a complaint from ****** dilanza.
I own & operate camden county airport.we store aircraft, boats,**'s,trucks, etc. & charge a monthly fee for storage
She says her ** was "dumped here by an unrelated individual" She failed to say that the individual is her ex-boyfriend.
His name is *************************, ************************************************************************** style="font-size: *******px; font-family: arial;">************** came to us on 9/2/21 requesting that he store his girl friends ** at our facility. He paid 1 months storage fee of $100.
He never paid further storage fees
we got an email from ****** complaining that ************* was supposed to move her ** to north wales,**.
She claims that he "stole" her **. I advised her to report the ** stolen if that was true. The local police have been here at her request with no action by them.
She has continued to complain to us(and anyone else who will listen) about *************** behavior.
We refuse to get in the middle of a lovers quarrel between ****** & *************.
we just need to get paid for the storage fees that is owed which is now $800.

    Customer response

    04/29/2022

    Complaint: 17019374

I am rejecting this response because:

I have not been in a relationship with ************** since March 2021 and the nature of the relationship is not Camden Airport's business.  The relationship ended due to domestic violence issues, and ************** agreed - per *********** PD - to return the ** to ************* in ***********, **.   I contacted Camden Airport on 8/24/2021 (see attached email) forbidding the receipt. I also called and left several voicemails.

I received a callback from employee and believed co-owner or manager (brother of ***************************) ***************************, discussing that ************** had no authority to return the vehicle. *************************** advised that they would reject any attempted relocation.

Despite knowing the ** is my personal property (and being provided numerous supporting documentation including title and registration) and ************** had no authority to relocate it, *************************** accepted the vehicle.  In attempts to relocate it, he ignored dozens of emails and hung up the phone on me and refused to do business with me.  I have visited the located 3 times.  **** is never onsite and **** was there once.  The *****************, specifically Officer ********** verified my ownership and that I DO NOT OWE this individual money as this man made a contract voidable.

After 7+ months of neglect, he sent me an invoice attempting to extort me out of money I do not owe him.  Officer ********* has advised I could *** HIM for treble damages + other issues involving relocation, lock change (as no one at Camden Airport will verify if keys exist) and depriving me of personal property.

********************** is withholding my vehicle b/c while he COULD *** **************, he would similarly lose in court, b/c he accepted a contract with full knowledge the individual had no legal right to make such a contract.

After Officer ********* recently visited and spoke to employees of Camden Airport, only THEN did *************************** say he would release the ** for cash only. For months up until the police were involved, he would not even speak to me or return calls/emails despite full knowledge that I am the vehicle owner and *********************** is an unrelated 3rd party who I have not been in contact with (except w/ Marlton PD involvement, to get my property back) in over a year, and approximately 6 months prior to him dumping it at Camden Airport.

    Regards,

    ***************************
