Horrible person and contempt. Stay awayz He subcontracted me to pave a job. He got paid stiffed me for Payment while he got paid and deliberately damaged driveway claiming faulty workmanship. Stay awayReview from Billy H

Do not use this man at all..He will rob you blind. He has taken $4200.00 of our money and has done nothing near the work that should have been per his BS contrace. He at this point has stolen$2000.00 of it in wood we never received.. he won't answer any phone calls or text messages. I have filed a complaint with the *** and the *********** of customer Affairs. Also have filed 2 complaints against him and his company..This man should NEVER work again..Review from Kathy P

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! I repeat Do Not hire this tree service! They are not worth the time! Did they cut down our tree? Yes they did. Did they ever come back to grind down the *****?? NO! AND IT'S BEEN 4 YEARS!! The owner is scatterbrained and very forgetful or lazy, not sure which. Do yourself a favor and find another tree service. You will be so glad you did! I gave them 1 star only because I had to rate them in order to leave a review.Review from Maryanne H

This man ***************** of Big Dog Tree Service is a thief pretending to be a contractor. He is so very dishonest. BEWARE! I gave him a $2000.00 deposit for a project and I never saw him again. He kept telling me how he was short of staff, equipment breakdown, etc and had to reschedule the job. This is his MO. (Modus Operandi) . He has found a way to rip off people without any consequence.I filed a police report against him and was told since we had a contract that it is not a criminal crime that it is a civil mattter. The police made a phone call to him. He did not answer. No help to me. I then filed a ** Consumer Affairs complaint against him and his company. No help to me. The informed me to file a civil case against him. I then filed a civl suit against him and his company in **********. He did not show up. No help to me and nothing has happened to him thus far. My attorney will not take the case since the amount is too low. Maybe if we all got together the District Attorney will prosecute him for "Thief by Disception". He takes our money with no intention of actually doing the work....I see you are selling your bike on ******** ****. Maybe you can use those funds to pay one of us back ***********************. Terrible company, and terrible owner. They cut down 4.5 out of 5 trees and they supposed come back next day to finish the last tree and pick up the lumber. They asked for full payment and I trusted them and paid. They never come back to finish the job and I have to hire someone else to finsh the last tree and clean up all the mess they left behind.Review from Edward M

**** has owed me approximately $560 for some subcontracting ***** grinding work that I did for his tree service. Its now overdue for 212 days. He constantly ignores all of invoices. He told me its his policy not to pay for 90 days . He rarely responds to my calls or my texts. When he does respond he will make every single excuse in the book. Im sick. Im coming next week .. then he will no show,, no calls to reschedule , so after months of no show games. I. tried to do a fair trade for felling services instead of requesting payment, Again his machines are down being fixed. cant work. bad weather.multiple no shows. I have continually tried to clear this outstanding balance with him in a fair way however he just takes advantage once he has the value of your work. I have told him numerous times Ill have to leave him a poor review . He just goes on and on with lies and false promises. Its pathological, Its very frustrating. He cant be trusted. After reading these reviews the stories we are all sharing seem to be consistent. Scam Artist, Theif, Unreliable you name it. They gave a quote, asked for a deposit. Never showed the day they were supposed to NO CALL. Finally got in touch and they said misunderstanding and it was a different day. This time a phone call but problem with the crane and assured us they were coming. NO SHOW NO CALL. After several attempts for almost 2 weeks finally a return phone call from "the Dad" saying he got hurt, and would come again, a new date was given. Once again NO SHOW NO CALL. After asking for our deposit back of course NO RESPONSE. Shame on you Big Dog for taking advantage of the elderly and a Veteran of the US Army. Zero Stars if I could !Review from Jake R

Id give zero stars if I could. I am deeply disappointed by the deceitful conduct of the owner/operator, ***************************** of Big Dog Tree Service, LLC. Not only did he steal a cash deposit, but also showed complete disregard for his contractual obligations. He was difficult to contact once he had my deposit in hand. He rescheduled twice, each time on what was supposed to be the day of service, and would not confirm either day prior if he was going to show up or not. He never showed. After the second reschedule on his part, I asked for my deposit back so I could seek services elsewhere. He repeatedly said via text he would return my deposit. He did not. I took him to small claims court and won. He didnt show up. The court's verdict of guilt in the breach of contract case serves as a testament to his misconduct. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this unscrupulous contractor and opt for more trustworthy and reliable alternatives.Review from Leah S.

Big Dog Tree cut down a total of 4 trees for **. They did a great job! The job was done quick and professionally.We then hired them back to do our fence. **** was upfront and honest about the pricing and was completed in two days. I would recommend them to friends and family!
