I brought my car to ******** of German Motors. I let him know that I had a 3rd party warranty and I wanted the repairs to be covered by it. He agreed and took on my claim. He sent in his initial diagnosis and the warranty company paid it out. He then changed the estimate, due to a misdiagnosis increased it by about $3700 without prior approval from the warranty company. ******** will say it was not a misdiagnosis, it was just something him and his expert technician overlooked in their diagnosis. The warranty is refusing to pay the $3700 after already paying out about $8,500. Due to negligence on ******** and the warranty company, my car is being held hostage and he passed the bill to me. ******** should be perusing recourse with the warranty company and not the customer.

    TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN,
******* ******* CONTACTED ME FOR WARRANTY ***AIRS ON HIS VEHICLE THAT WE SCHEDULED IN. WE DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE CORRECTLY AND CONTACTED THE WARRANTY COMPANY, OUR FINDINGS WERE VEHICLE IS OUT OF TIMING ON ONE BANK AND UPON REMOVAL OF THE OTHER BANK WE ALSO FOUND THAT THE CAMSHAFTS WERE OUT OF TIMING AS WELL. WARRANTY CLAIMED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN IS STRETCHED AND RECOMMENDED  ***LACEMENT AND WE DISAGREED WITH THAT FACT. IF THE TIMING CHAIN WOULD NEED ***LACEMENT THAT WOULD COST MORE IN ***AIRS SINCE IT WILL BE MORE LABOR. THE REASON WHY THEY  TOLD ME THE TIMING CHAIN NEEDS ***LACEMENT IS TO POINT THE FINGER AT ME AS A MISDIAGNOSIS FAULT. I ALSO RECORDED ALL MY ***AIRS AND WENT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY WITH MR. ******* AS WE BOUGHT ALL THE PARTS FROM ******** AS GENUINE PARTS ONLY AND OLD PARTS ARE STILL SAVED AS EVIDENCE. THE CONFUSION IS THAT THERE WAS MORE THEN ONE ***RESENTIVE DEALING WITH THE CLAIM BECAUSE APPRANTLY THE *** WE WERE DEALING WITH GOT SICK. NOW THIS OTHER *** SENDS ME A NEW TOTAL ***AIR ESTIMATE WITH A DIFFERENT TOTAL NUMBER FROM THE FIRST ***AIR ESTIMATE WHICH WAS $6051.17 THAT WE COLLECTED ON, AFTER REQUESTING TO SEND PHOTOS OF SOURCE OF FAILURE OF THE SECOND BANK WHICH I FOLLOWED GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES AND I WAS SENT BACK A NEW TOTAL ESTIMATE OF $5880.57 AND I ASSUMED THATS THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE OTHER BANK THAT NEEDED ***AIRS AND I WENT AHEAD AND FINISHED THE ***AIRS. I WENT TO GO SUBMIT THE OUR FINAL INVOICE AND SENT OVER ALL THE PAPERWORK FOR THEM TO TELL ME I ALREADY GOT PAID ON THIS WHICH HAD ME CONFUSED BECAUSE THE FIRST AMOUNT WAS DIFFERENT WHICH IS $6051.17, NOW THERE IS A MISCOUMMUNICATION ON THIER END WHEN IT CAME TO PAYMENT. I TALKED TO THE SUPERVISOR AND THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO COOPERATE AND TOLD ME THEY WILL ONLY PAY AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $2372.55 AND BRINGS THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID $8423.72. ALSO THERE IS PARTS THAT THEY DID NOT COVER WHICH WAS A NECCESSARY PART OF THE *** TO COMPLETE AND IN THE WARRANTY IT STATES IF THE VEHCILE BEING ***AIRED UPON REMOVAL OF CONSEQUENTIAL RELATED ITEMS SHOULD BE COVERED WHICH THEY DID NOT, VEHICLE ***AIRS ARE COMPLETE WITH ALL LISTED ITEMS BUT THE TIMING CHAIN THEY THOUGHT NEEDED ***LACEMENT AND VEHICLE RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. I WAS GENEROUS ENOUGH AND OFFERED ********** A PAYMENT PLAN OF 6 MONTHS TO PAY OFF THE BALANCE AND INSTEAD I GOT THREATENED WITH THE POLICE TO COME GET HIS VEHICLE AND NOW THAT OFFER IS OFF THE ****** AS THIS PROBLEM PROLONGS NOW THERE WILL BE STORAGE FEES APPLIED AND A LEIN ON THE VEHICLE ACCORDING TO MY LAWYER WE CAN HANDLE THIS IN A CIVIL MANNER. I AM STILL GIVING HIM THE OPPRITUNITY TO COME AND PAY HIS REMAINING BALANCE, BUT IF MR. ******* KEEPS TO CONTINUE TO BLAME ME FOR HIS WARRANTY NO COOPERATING IT IS JUST UNFAIR. I ATTAHCED ALL THE DOCUMENTS I HAVE AND IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED FROM ME PLEASE CONTACT ME TO GIVE YOU MY LAWYERS CONTACT INFORMATION AND HE CAN HANDLE THIS CASE THE CORRECT WAY, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
