my project has just been completed after almost 4 months my basement was flooded and destroyed right before Christmas 2022. PROS: it started great guys came to work everyday and worked hard to repair things. the office staff and the ** assigned to my project started off great working with me through paper work with the insurance company. they also didn't harass me for payment when certain portions were completed. overall the work looks amazing. CONS: the ** and some of the workers have ZERO customer Service skills! I suffered through 4 months of not going ape (Sugar Honey Ice Tea) on them. The ** constantly talked to me and my wife like he was doing us a "favor" with certain things mind you were paying 80k!! what "favor" are you doing me?!?! was talked at instead of to about the directions of certain things. sometimes dudes were really telling me wtf to do in my own house!! when a mistake was made it was never their fault it was always some defensive rebuttal. When I asked to add things to the project I was up charged an insane amount of money and felt I was punished for hiring someone else more affordable. soon as I did that my project automatically got pushed to the back burner and was completed at their leisure and to make it all worst they insulted my brother verbally calling him a 'PIRATE' cause he stepped in and completed things I needed without trying to take advantage of me price wise! he was a "pirate" behind his back but was being recruited by them when he seen his craftsmanship. complete disrespect and unprofessional. at the end of the job I stopped pointing out flaws in the work didn't want them to clean up just get the h*** out my house!! nothing was worth another day of stress! soooooo glad its over! no after ******* that money spent I still have to dig in my pocket for corrections and cleaning. ima spend that money gladly with someone else who appreciates my business and knows how to speak to people.

I contacted Vulcan back in November 2021. They sent out a regional Salesman named ***********************. He provided a free no obligation estimate and explained since my waterproofing problem had to be done outside we needed to wait until weather was warmer so we scheduled a start date of 4/28/2022. As the time past, I had a funny feeling something felt wrong and boy was I right! The week of my start date, I never heard back from ****. I decided to call the main office and confirm my date. They were not aware of my job and gave me a ******** excuse that it couldn't rain for three days because one if their men fell in a whole when the ground was soft. You can't control the weather as a company but you sure as better meet your customers needs because they keep you in business. Long story short they rescheduled my job three times before two managers met and decided to refund my deposit because they wouldn't guarantee their work! Keep in mind I had a written contract from **** stating Vulcan guaranteed the work for 5 years! This company is by far the most dishonest, incompetent company I've ever dealt with. I can't believe they advertise they've beeb in business since ****! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
