They are crooks and the service department as well. They change prices on vehicles and took my vehicle in for servicing because there was a knocking in what I thought was the transmission and told them my four wheel drive warning lights came on. They had my vehicle for a week and said nothing was wrong. They did something to it because it drove fine until the warranty ran out. It got worse and they want me to pay $200 for a diagnostic test for what I told them was wrong while it was under warranty. Never going back to them nor recommending them to anyoneIdealautousa.com Corp Response

If I could give a negative review, I would. These people are SCAM ARTISTS! We worked with a salesman named *****. we walked to the back of the lot where we noticed the tires were completely bare, and then we see 4 lug nuts missing. We tried to start the car, it was dead and had to be jumped. Then they had put the mileage below ******* on the site, yet it was over ******* on the odometer. Also, the car shook so much we couldnt take it but around the corner and back. ***** asked if they took the lug nuts and tires off a similar vehicle would I take it that day? I said no, in which he told me, Okay, new tires on us. I find out the $10,890 car we thought we were charged, was actually $18,600 (with a mandatory $4,000 down). We were also told if we paid by cash it would be $4,000 extra. ***** seemed like a really nice guy, but so does every other scam artist until you fall for their scam. I signed papers, but they never, ever, said the full amount until you get home an hour later, check the papers, theyre closed, and now youre freaking out trying to get ahold of them-and they ignore your calls. I texted ***** who blamed **** (his manager) who then blamed *****. We met with **** and the place was dead. I would NEVER pay $18,000+ for a used vehicle, when I can pay that for a brand new vehicle? ***** showed us a diagram (thats how they try to break down the *** package) which is $6,560 extra. ***** said it was included. They also never discussed all the other extra fees like powertrain for $1,795 or gap insurance for $1,000. When they pass you along to ****- in the finance department, make sure youre aware what he is having you sign! Not one word came out of his mouth about the add-ons. These packages are supposed to be optional by the buyer and he never asked, just assumed we wanted it. When you get hit with double what you intended to pay, youll feel scammed to! Be VERY careful and please dont make the same mistake we did! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!Idealautousa.com Corp Response

Its impossible to get in touch with you people! Never call back, never know when the car is ready from servicing. Just found out the $4,150 I put down on the car was not even subtracted. This is plain fraud! You know exactly what youre doing with all your hidden extra fees, Im not the first one (as we can see on here) and I know I wont be the last one. I just hope you feel good with yourself knowing what youre doing to people.Review from Mohammad B

Dear various oversight entities, I, ******* ******, purchased a vehicle from Excel Auto Lounge also D.B.A. Idealautousa.com Corp. on August 6th, 2024 with the promise of the car being delivered on Aug 7th, 2024 by my sales *** and the gentleman that finalizes the paperwork. As of todays date of August ******* I have still not received delivery of the car that I purchased. I have reached out to my sales *** who some say is sick and others say doesnt work there anymore. I have also reached out to the manager (who I will call ** *.) over 50 times and have been told that he is in a meeting and that he will call me back as soon as he approves the delivery of my vehicle as promised. I have not heard back from the manager. I decided to purchase the 2001 Mercury Grand ******* at the advertised price of $1,257 advertised on their website. **************** informed me that they do not finance cars that old. I decided to purchase the vehicle with all of my liquid monies and added the insurance policy at time of purchase and am now paying a insurance bill for a car I havent received and thats not counting the $100 I paid to a retirement ***** to drive me to the car dealership! The sales *** came to me with a price of $4,953 for a vehicle that was advertised at $1,257. He explained to me that his company was given money by the banks to finance all their cars and that this is a great deal. We went out and looked at the vehicle and there was no battery in the car, the hood release mechanism was broke, there was no key fob to lock the doors, missing hub cat, etc. I was ready to walk out the door 3-4 times and the sales *** asked whats the most Im willing to pay and the answer was the $1,257 listed price plus title and tag transfer so $200 at most. The sales ***, company hasn't delivered my vehicle yet as promised No communication or crooked I am disabled and also under treatment of an oncologist. Deliver my car or refund my money please. the trunk space ****** /chairIdealautousa.com Corp Response

Went to this dealership that gave false information to my son that he had been preapproved for financing. Of course when we get their that is not the case. We agreed to trade in the 2015 Audi and finance a 2015 Lexus. After hours and hours of unnecessary back and forth we agreed. It is now 30 days past the financing and they have not paid off the 2015 Audi auto loan. Therefore, i am responsible for those payments plus the new car. I dropped the insurance on Audi and added the Lexus. Guess what I'm in hot water because I don't have coverage on the Audi. I'm in ** and the temporary NJ tag has expired. No registration received, No tags, and the car is not in my sons name as was discussed and should have been done and is on the loan. In addition, immediately there was a grinding with the brakes, called they said bring the car in got there and of course they don't have the parts. Had to come back and wait more hours for it to be repaired. Only to call them back and tell them the grinding is still happening. After numerous calls I am still waiting to hear from their financing, owner or someone that can clear this up. Either they need to pay all my out of pocket monies back to me, pay off my Audi trade in fully. There has to be something legally I/we can do. Never go back to Excel Auto. They appear friendly but are sharks just waiting to pounce.Idealautousa.com Corp Response

**** who was the finance manager there was very unprofessional towards you. He offered us the 2016 ******** **** c300 and told me I had within 30 days to return the car back if Im not satisfied so after receiving the car and undergoing the inspection, I saw the car had some unexplained issues. We were misled by the list pricing of the vehicle (on the website it stated $11,600 but after being rushed through the entire paper work, down the line we found out there were additional charges added on top of the finance charge. *** also seen similar complaints of others about this) now we want to return the car back to him but he is in denial. We had to get the police involved because he wasnt in compliance with us until the point where I tried to reach him and he blocked my number. If you are seeking a dealership like this please dont go to this one. We are still trying to get to the bottom of all this, we had the loan service involved and he lied to us about the 30 day cancellation period. Turns out its a warranty if there happens to be any collateral damage to the vehicle then we can bring it back and have them fix it but before they sold the car to us they didnt address any of that in a clear statement. COMPLETE FRAUD!Idealautousa.com Corp Response

You, the customer, seem to have a poor recollection of events. The paperwork that you have signed was not only described and explained to you on two occasions, but was also recorded. In review of the same, it was clear that **** made mentioned that 30 day return policy is subject to mechanical failure beyond repair. As you indicated, there is nothing wrong with the car. The financial decision to purchase the vehicle, was all yours. After having had explained to you in DETAIL. The police involvement that you describe, further reaffirmed the position and facts described above. Regardless, in an effort to provide superior customer service we offered to speak with you. However, your position was not only belligerent, but hostile, which concluded the meeting. With that being said, you are more than welcome to make an appointment and discuss this matter further. In a civil manner.Review from Salman D

More then 60 days and they're not able to provide me with title and registration and certainly I am not not sure if my 4runner is having a salvage title or it is stolen vehicle, I am now in the process of consulting consumer protection lawyers and going to complain to DMV. they've done so much wrong with so many people so they should have class action law suit.
