We bought a loveseat and sofa at ashley store at *******. It is terrible. The seams are ripping. It is piling all over, it has tears. We bought the extended plan just so this stuff would be covered, although this is due from normal wear and tear they will not cover anything. It is also sagging and the cushion are very low, we are extremely disappointed and tried all avenues to get this taken care of, we contacted 5star for the extra warranty they suggested us. We have done 3 claims for them to come a check the furniture and nothing. We are forced to get rid of our sofa and loveseat due to their bad service and all promises that were made to us at the day of the purchase. Never ever shop at Ashley furniture.Review from Andrea K.

The shopping experience for sofa and mattress was fine. Good pricing and what seemed to be good service. Well someone did not put our sons mattress on the truck with our sofa. No one notified us about an issue. We disassembled and threw out his bed. No mattress on the delivery truck 5pm Saturday. Told us too bad after admitting two items not merged onto same truck correctly. They hung up on my husband, put us on hold and refused to let us speak to ****** the manager on duty. Our delivery is now Wednesday! We had to purchase a blow up mattress for my kid to sleep on the floor. Horrendous! **************** could care less after it was their negligence. I would never recommend or go there again. Went because mattress was on sale. Now just spent ***** on air mattress and they charged us an extra ***** for delivery because there were two items on the truck! There was one item on the truck. Store was empty on a weekend . Hmmm I wonder why. Do not recommend. Very unprofessional.Review from jeffrey h

I recently bought a couch from the Eatontown store where I was told 3 times by the salesman that when they would deliver they would at no charge p/u the old couch and take it away. When they came they refused to take away the old one unless we paid them more money. I have since called the store on 4 occasions and spoke to both the involved salesman and a manager. They all promised to call back each time and NEVER have. I eventually called the customer service line and was told that the regional manager would call me back. That never happened. It is both disappointing and frustrating dealing with Ashley. Everyone seems nice and friendly before the sale but after that they do not seem to care at all.Review from Bryan W

My wife bought a furniture set for our daughter and the scheduled delivery was between 6:30am and 10:30am. I received a call at 6:00am on delivery day and was the driver will be outside my house in 5 mins. I tell him I'm not home at the moment and he's gonna have to wait. At 6:30qm he begins ringing my bell and calling my wife and I. He then has the delivery coordinator calling me as well. I explain the situation to her and she demands my wife let them bring the furniture in the house and install it without me being home. I let her know if they can't wait for me then leave it on the porch because they are not gaining entry into my home at 630am without me being there. She tells me no and that there a $100 fee if they don't bring it in my house today. I then have my father come over to watch them deliver it to my porch which they didn't want to do until they found out I had a ring camera and everything was recorded. At this point they drop off the furniture and cut the boxes to shreds claiming they "needed" to that for the inspection. After the confirmation of the delivery and inspection. We carried the boxes inside. The dresser's box was so cut up that I cut myself on the staples that hold it to wood on the bottom. This will be my last purchase from Ashley and I should be pressing charges.Review from Danielle M

If 0 stars was a possibility that I’d what I would give. We bought a couch and love seat and was told they were in the warehouse and would be delivered within 2 weeks. We paid in full for the order. Two weeks later and not even a phone call with an update of our order. The store and corporate kept passing the blame. Three weeks later the love seat came, but no couch. Then they claimed their systems were down and could not see their orders. A month and a half later we finally get the couch and it was broken. Again the store and corporate kept placing the blame on each other. Ended up having to go to the store and have corporate on the line to get our money back. It took over 3 hours to do this. Regina and Mark are incompetent and have no customer service skills when something goes wrong. Corporate outsourced their representative to other countries and they don’t understand what you’re asking for. This was an absolute train wreck and Ashley’s should be out of business with these practices.Review from Lisa S

I purchased a sectional on Sept 16, 2023 from Ashley in Farmingdale New York. I paid over $3,000. I hardly use the couch since we have a sectional in our Den. After entertaining on Thanksgiving, I noticed that the entire couch was pilling. In December, I filed a claim with the protection company ( I purchased the extra protection). I waited several weeks for a response for the claim. Today, I finally heard back from them and was denied help since pilling is not covered. I immediately called Ashley to tell them what is happening to my hardly used three month old couch. I spoke to the manager, Urial, he told me that pilling is not a manufacturers defect and said there is nothing he could do to help me. Clearly the manufacturer is using inferior fabric and should stand by their product and make restitution to innocent consumers. I was told to purchase a fabric shaver to fix the problem!!! I would have been better off buying a $1500 couch from ****** Ashley furniture should be out of business with these terrible ethics and defective, cheap fabrics they are using.Review from Ru M

THIS COMPANY IS THE BIGGEST JOKE. BETWEEK KEISHA AND LORI, I HAVE BEEN TREATED HORRIBLY. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND, I SPENT 5 HOURS TRYING TO ADDRESS A PROBLEM YESTERDAY WITH THEM AND MAGICALLY ONLY GOT LORI AND KEISHA WHO LITERALLY WERE TALKING **** ABOUT ME WITH ME ON THE PHONE SO I COULD HEAR EVERY WORD. THEIR CALL CENTER NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN. I AM STILL BEYOND UNSATSIFIED, LEFT WITH AN UNRESOLVED ISSUE AND WISH I COULD JUST GET MY MONEY BACK AND GO TO ASHLEY CORPORATE. My husband and I bought a loveseat and couch 14 months ago. It is terrible. The seams are ripping. It is piling all over, it has tears. We bought the extended plan just so this stuff would be covered, although this is due from normal wear and tear they will not cover anything. It is also sagging and very difficult for the legs to go down on the recliner. We are extremely disappointed and tried all avenues to get this taken care of. We are forced to get rid of our sofa and loveseat due to embarrassment and purchase a new one. Never ever shop at Ashley furniture.Review from Ryan B

I bought 10k of furnitures from this location and still under warranty. The love section wood below the chair is broken from sitting on it and some of the stitching from the opposite side of the sofa are also loose. My claim was denied as they stated they are compound issues normal wear and tear. I have a wood sticking out of my chair and they tell me it's normal wear and tear. I am under warranty and need this fixed asap. I will never buy from this play or instruct anyone to buy from this place if not fixed again as I have made my entire family buy from this place.
