My fiance and I first contacted Petite Planning Company (PPC) after being personally referred to the business' owner and lead planner, Amanda A***** After an initial meeting, we selected the most premium package that PPC had to offer, which promised unlimited meetings and a stress-free wedding planning process. We signed our contract on 7/2/24. Amanda visited the planned site of our wedding (my parents' home) on 7/13/24. Since that time, communication with Amanda has been challenging, as her response time was often prolonged and multiple attempts to reach her were usually required. However, each time we met with Amanda (via zoom/phone), she appeared to be working toward planning our wedding. Amanda suggested a tent rental company to move forward with, which we agreed to. The next step was for her to visit the wedding site with the vendor. She asked for my parents' contact information to set this meeting up. I provided this the same day (7/30/24). She never contacted my parents and never spoke of the tent vendor to us again. On September 12, 2024, I emailed Amanda with some vendor selection details and questions. She never responded. It has now been over a month with no response. Follow-up emails, text message, phone calls, voicemails, and emails to the entire company have gone entirely unanswered. As such, we have requested contract termination and refund due to the violation of the aforementioned agreed upon "unlimited meetings" and general inadequacy and unprofessionalism demonstrated by Amanda and her company. Our notification of contract termination was provided in writing five days prior to the next payment's due-date, as agreed upon in our contract. Since then, we have only received automated requests from the company to submit this payment. Meanwhile, PPC has continued to post on social media and respond to new client inquiries. We are filing this complaint as a last effort to reach the company and settle this dispute before pursuing legal action.
