    Good afternoon, Im writing because this company Tuli Realty has scammed me out of $100 for an application fee. I spoke with ******** on January 11,**** about an ad they had on Zillow which was a 2 bedroom apartment for $1700. On the Zillow app they had an option to do an application for the apartment listed. I did the application, I called the office to let them know I did the application through Zillow to find out they dont accept applications off Zillow. I contacted ****** to let them know what happened and they advised me that when viewing apartments on Zillow and if it says to apply now that whoever posted the ad agreed to accept the ntn that ****** provided. After speaking with ******** letting her know that my money was tight due to me having to buy my own medication because I have medical issues she insisted that I contact management to see if they can waive the fee but in stead insisted that I borrowed money from someone because management have up to 5 business days to reply back. I am a section 8 voucher holder and I did let her know that I was trying to get my paperwork in before the 15 of January **** so that I could move in by February 1, ****. I did manage to borrow $100 from a friend that I have to pay pay. My son and I did our application on January 11, **** and I did call Tuli Realty to let them know that I did my application and when speaking to the receptionist she replied they havent received anything yet which my the 2 emails I received confirmed they did receive it. The receptionist said someone would contact me but they never did. Not to mention today makes 5 days since me and my son done our application and we never received a copy of our credit report nor criminal history and it clearly asks if we like a copy and we replied yes. I do know when someone does an application for any apartment they are entitled to that information. I called today to check the status of my application and they had me on hold for 11 minutes. I just want my $100.

The application did not progress to have the full background check completed. Therefore, the application fee(s) were refunded, proof attached. A representative calling on your behalf was made aware of this. We understand that this decision may be disappointing, and we genuinely appreciate your interest in our property. Please note that our decision is based solely on the established criteria for all applicants, and we are unable to make exceptions.We wish you the best in your search for suitable housing, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.

    This agency is very unprofessional, all they do is take your money. We made sure the apartment we moved out of was spotless. Then Tuli realty emails us claiming the kitchen and bathroom was not up to par. I have video evidence and pictures that the apartment was left clean, because I knew they would try this. I've read reviews and complaints about this company after I became a tenant. So therefore I knew I needed proof so we wouldn't be the next victim. Another thing they did was take out from my account and my fianc account for rent. I called to complain they told me it would be accredited for next month's rent. They didn't know what plans I had for my money to make such an unreasonable decision. Lastly they said we didn't send them a 30 day notice regarding our move out date but my fianc provided them proof of an email that a notice was sent after they denied ever getting one. I really wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

    ******,Thank you for providing your feedback. Upon the move out inspection, we observed grease on the backsplash kitchen tiles, dirty kitchen cabinets, and the bathroom required additional cleaning. Please review photos attached. To end our landlord relationship amicably we refunded the deposit in full despite the apartment requiring additional cleaning. In regards to money being removed from your account, we do not have access nor control to your tenant portal. It appears that you and/or the secondary occupant accidently submitted a payment twice. We understand mistakes do happen and advised you that payment can be held as a credit until the next monthly billing cycle occurs, as we cannot process refunds. We are still awaiting proof of the move out notice being provided to the correct email address. In good faith, we did honor the move out notice and refunded the deposit. We understand during these tense times everyone is very quick to submit a negative review however, in your case I hope you can see our office did truly try our best to work with you and hope you will retract your statement provided all the evidence in our favor.

    First off your company isn't even BBB accredited which says a lot within itself. Tuli Realty has poor customer service and they just care about getting money. This company needs to be thoroughly investigated. We all aren't so quick to submit "Negative reviews, during tense times" we are writing reviews to help other people before they make the same mistakes that we did, by choosing your company. Before they get trapped in your toxic and unprofessional webs that you have created, we warn them in advance. They are slumlords to put it in the simplest terms. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We've rented from them short term not because we wanted to own our own property but because the experience was absolutely horrific. This company is despicable and if you want to be acknowledged when issues occur in your building, I suggest you run far away from ****. Me and my fiance sent them emails not too long ago, and guess what NO RESPONSE. They are real professional :/
