3/28/2024 I reached out to the owner about a repair on a Mercedes sprinter van that I had borrowed from a friend and damaged in use. Owner wanted me to have it fixed while he was on vacation. Mike said he would help, I dropped off the van. While there, he saw that my personal car (Audi a3) had damage- got hit by a cart while I was in sprouts, scratches on bumper and said he could fix it. I agreed. He fixed the van that week, I had to pick it up after hours, was dark when I arrived and couldn’t fully eval. Mike said he couldn’t get final coat on but go to my friends house and apply it next day. I dropped off van to friend and my car to Mike. When my friend returned, he had concerns, it looked like all the paint had run down Van, areas were rough and looked a mess. Mike said he would fix it. I then picked up my car from Mike and on the drive home- my grill fell out of my car on the highway,I realized he took my phone charger which he admitted, and the next day I realized my dent from the shopping cart was still there. When I called him he said bring it back and said it probably “popped back in”. I brought the car back to him, he “fixed” it, left key in car for me to pick up after hours, when I saw it-dent wasn’t fully gone and paint didn’t match. He then gave me the run around for several months about the van saying he would do it the next day, constantly cancelling, one excuse after another, ignoring calls for weeks at a time.I sent over my mother in law who lives near his shop and she was able to reach him in person(in the mean time, she also had work done by him that also failed)she got him to call me that day, and he soon after showed up to fix the van.The day after his “fix,” my friend called me and said the paint job was totally messed up-many flies dried into the paint, it was sand paper texture, pieces were now loose on van etc he has blocked my phone number, won’t answer me on Fb or Insta and has deleted my Fb ppsts. He won’t return the money-I paid him $750
