On December 7, 2022, I went to Liberty auto care. They supposedly trouble shoot electrical problems. Spoke to a person by the name ******* at the counter. Asked to speak to the owner of the business. Was told that he was busy. I explained to ******* that my battery was draining, especially with colder weather. He said to leave the vehicle. The last thing I mentioned was to be notified FIRST as to cost. A few hours went by and received a call from ******* telling me the jeep is ready? I informed that I was to have received a call first. I asked what would be the charges. He said the amount owed is $249.52 ? I asked what was done? He said that the owner simply disconnected a fuse and said that I had a faulty dashcam. When I went to Liberty Auto, I asked to speak to the owner and again I was told he was busy for me to talk to him. The owners name is ******************** I informed ******* that I never got a call first and left. The next day I went to his business before it opened up. When I saw **************, I explained that I specified to be notified first. He asked ******* if he notified me first and he said no. ************** gave me a $109.52 credit where the charge now was $140.00 and was told that he disconnected a fuse and that my battery was being drained due to a faulty dashcam. I ended buying a new dashcam. A week went by and again the battery was drained. I went back again to Liberty and again saw the counter person ******* and explained that the problem continued. He said for me to leave the jeep to further troubleshoot the jeep. I asked, so that there would be more charges, and he replied yes ? I asked ******* to check with the owner Mr. ******************** ******* came back and said that there would be more charges to troubleshoot some more? I replied by saying that this is not right with this trial and error approach and be charged more money? All Ive done is spend money on a new dashcam after I was told I had a faulty dashcam and I was out $140.00 and nothing has been resolved. Id like to recoup my $140.00 and go to a reputable facility
