On 8/11/2024, at approximately 9:45a, I contacted Pyramid tire to ask if they had a tire that matched size of tire to fit my 2012 Chrysler town and country, the owner said yes and gave cost of used tire ($60). The vehicle was towed to location by AAA tow truck driver. The keys were given to a worker. Upon return to business, approximately two hours later, employee said tire was not fixed because I didnt pay. I explained that I sent the money to owner via cashapp, so he contacted owner and owner confirmed. Employee then got a few tools and went to van to take off tire; the employee stumbled a little while walking; I went to his aid and noted a very strong stench of alcohol. He attempted to remove lugs and was unable to and he said if I dont have right tools itll strip lugs and cause more damage so I told him that I didnt wish for any further damage so he said he would contact owner to come up. Owner arrived about 10 minutes later and I asked if he was able to replace tire without further damage, he replied yes, I got this. About ***** minutes later, he walked by where I was sitting in front of the business and said, man, you gonna have to go to another shop. He proceeded to walk inside with no explanation so when he came out I asked him to clarify and he said theyre seized, we cant get them off.I then called a mechanic, whos a friend of the family. He came and saw that 2 lug nuts had been broken off and remaining were stripped. I went inside business and asked them to call owner to see if he broke lug nuts in process. The employee called owner and he said yes, I broke it but it wouldve happened anyway. Shes gonna have to tow it somewhere else to get fixed. I asked owner was he willing to pay for additional tow and repair of lugs/studs that he damaged and he said, no, Im not paying for anything. I **** vehicles towed next morning, 8/12/2024, around 10:30a, to another shop.
