Mirage Towing towed my car from an abandoned parking lot, and for 15 minutes of storage charged just over $300 in fees. They also tried to add extra charges for towing on a Sunday, an extra fee for Sunday storage when the car could not be retrieved (when the non emergency police number of New Brunswick said they could not do that), and refused to present a video of the car being loaded and unloaded for potential damaged brought on by negligence of the tow truck operator. Predatory business, and expected cash or Zelle for under the table payment.

Today on July 26th, 2023, A towing company known as Mirage Towing, a known company which targets peoples cars. The owner and the man who drives the truck is the same person. He tow cars without leaving a notice or any information of any sort. There are people who said their cars were towed even though they were legally parked. I am one of this people. Today this morning I was just waking up and I get a call from my brother saying my car was getting towed. My brother followed him to get some information until the guy pulled over and called the cops even though all my brother did was follow him and honk to get his attention. The guy is a known scammer. He acts like he doesnt understand english but he knows what hes doing. He makes people pay ridiculous fees ranging from $260 to $400. His business is unethical and should not be running at all. Please shut down this scammer for the good of the community. Someone like this should not run a business much less a towing business.

I visited a friend at *************** *********. I parked at 12:30am and by 2:30am my car was towed. I went to get the car immediately upon discovery. They said it was $345 to retrieve as I was being charged for a day of storage. I parked in the same spot last week with no issue. The person who I visited also got his car towed even though he lives there with a pass. The only reason given is that the car was parked crooked.

They illegally towed my car from my apartment complex stating it didnt have a parking sticker. When I called them to verify if they had my car and told them in fact my car does have a sticker directly on the windshield they went and checked their yard to verify and indeed saw the sticker and said they will return the car. My wife and I have our own businesses and lost money for that day since we couldnt make it to our location for work in time, so we lost out on our work day. Then I made a video as they brought the car back which is an Audi A6 AWD that they towed improperly l because AWD vehicles have to be on a flat bed or dollies have to be used to make sure the car is completely off the ground which they didnt and I have video proof and also confirmed the towing manner with Audi and they stated it should be completely off the ground being an AWD car. My car came back filthy that I had it washed prior to them towing it and it came back dirty with debris all over it that they refused to pay for the detail. I called Audi and they recommended I bring it in for a diagnostic to make my AWD system isnt damaged and they refused to cover those charges as well. Mirage LLCs owner spoke to me very rudely and became very defensive as though hes the victim and hung up the phone as he kept talking over me. I drove to their yard and their employee ***** said theres nothing they can do, she sent me to their office address and no one was there so she drove over and spoke to me their and repetitively stated the same thing over and over that theres nothing more they can or are willing to do to make things right. They did the most they can which is returned the vehicle. She stated she is frustrated with this situation but yet its our car they towed and were the ones their giving a run around to. They should not be in business with such business and unprofessional moral ethics. They stated the vehicle was on dollies and also put that on paper but there was no dollies used.
