  I dropped my son off at his new daycare (Caritas Felices Child Care) and paid $70 cash for the day. I left him there around 10:15am and picked him up at 4:45pm, upon my arrival I noticed my sons jacket and pants were soaking wet with dirt and mud all over them, when I asked what happened he had told me he was sitting in the dirt due to a bully not allowing him to play on the playground. Twenty minutes later as we are driving he proceeds to tell me his day was not good because none of the children were allowed inside the building all day nor were they fed once! Our contract states that they WILL provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, & three snacks throughout the day which was a lie. It was also 65 degrees all day on Saturday August 20, 2022 and raining constantly! So not only was my child not fed once throughout a 6 hour period but was also neglected and left outside like an animal!!

  I told the parents we would be playing outside. We like the kids to interact with nature. If it was raining hard, we would not have taken the kids outside. We take the kids outside when it's nice. It may have rained in the morning and got the toys wet. We can prove that the child was not soaking wet. The swing may have had a little water and he may have sat in that. If it rains that day in the morning, the toys will get wet. It's not that much water. I explained all of that. They said it was fine.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  I was never told that the children would be playing outside I didn’t even speak to the owner upon drop off, I only spoke to a staff member who said “thank you. Have a good day” when dropping my son off. Never once did i say it would be fine for them to leave my kid outside, as i was never even told that the kids would be outside on a rainy 65 degree day. It rained all day and my sons clothes were wet & muddy, I have pictures to prove so. My child was also never fed once throughout a 7 hour period (the contract stated they would be fed breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus snacks in between each meal). My child’s own words were “mom please don’t take me back to that place no kids were allowed inside once they didn’t even give us a chance to use the bathroom”. I have no reason to lie and the fact that the owner is lying about speaking to me and putting words into my mouth at the sake of saving her unprofessional business is disgusting and this woman should be charged with child neglect and child abuse. I’m not the only parent who’s complained about child neglect/abuse look at their public reviews! Shut this place down before something terrible happens to one of these kids!
