CV Boot/Joint Replacement was performed on March 24, 2023. Job was done However, they caused damages to my ABS Electrical System. I was told by H&D Tire tech that it would reset itself, because I told them that the ABS Light came on after they did the CV Boot/Joint Replacement Service. On May 22, 2023, I noticed a wire hanging down on the right driver side tire. I took the car for inspection to find out what it went to. ***** ******* informed me that the wire to the ABS Brake System had been cut and that it damaged the Bearings that needed to be replaced and that I had been driving without the extra protection of ABS Brakes. I called H&D Tire to see if they would reimburse me for the damages they caused. First ***** ********* said YES and for me to bring the pictures and total amount paid for repairs. I called before going to H&D Tire But ***** was avoiding Me. I never made another attempt because I was told he was at lunch and/or he's not available.Business response

On January 21st 2023 I took my Hyundai Santa Fe 2006 to H&D tire shop I had a leak in the thermostat housing so they say that needed to be replaced with the thermostat, he ended up telling me that the radiator had to be replaced and the bottom radiator hose had to be replaced and that cost me $873.18 and because I had to pay credit card I was charged tax and I didn't have the money so I had to split it between two credit cards he charged me $20.62 on One credit card to run it and $12.11 on my debit card to run it! I know for a fact that the radiator did not have to be replaced that was extra money that they got out of me I am on fixed income I don't have this kind of money! I took the car home and I still had the leak! Took the car back in on February 4th 2023 to have them recheck the leak that they were supposed to fix at this point they had to do another check they had to replace the valve cover gasket and the water pump to get the water leak fixed I paid another $695 cash I feel they did search and find until they actually found the problem they then had my car 5 days I picked it up on a Saturday and they didn't hook my transmission back up correctly so I had to take it back in the third time for them to have to fix my transmission because it was stuck in second gear wouldn't downshift and wouldn't upshift! This company is run by Mexican I'm not being prejudiced but the language barrier sucked I feel that they replace my valve cover gaskets and my radiator for no reason they kept wanting me to come down to look but I had no car because they had it I feel they took me for a run and I really don't appreciate it I would like to get some of my money back and as you see on the receipts that I'm going to be sending you and on the invoice for February 4th 2023 I paid cash and as you see they charge me no taxes! I feel I should be reimbursed the first invoice for $873.18 I feel this was unnecessary work because the water pump was the actual leak so they did all this extra work for nothing and I'm 65 this year on a fixed income and I can't afford this **** so I feel I was taking for a run here please help me on this matter to get my money back at least part of it!Business response

Regarding on the complaint we think that is not fair give any money back, the reason is because all the work that we did on his car was necessary and second reason is we let him know before do anything and he was agree with prices and time no body forced him to do anything so we think that is not fair give money back when the car is fixed .Customer response

Good morning ***** this is **** I'm finally getting back to you because the day I got the closure on my complaint I got my car out of the shop of my new mechanic plus I was dealing with eye surgery! I am sending you a receipt from the new mechanic on my car and proof that I was having eye surgery that everybody doesn't think I was blowing this off! If you can see by the receipt from *********** ********** this was the actual problem with my car! H&D tire shop had me over the barrel because we had such a language barrier I couldn't understand them that every time they called about something else being wrong I could not go down there and check it out because I didn't have a ride they had my car, they replaced thermostat, thermostat housing, radiator hose, radiator, water pump, head cover gaskets, had to take it back three times to actually get it fixed which actually never got fixed just Band-Aided! None of this had to be replaced they just couldn't find where the actual problem was so they were doing search and find until after they ran my bill up over $1,500 knowing that I am on a fixed income I basically had to scratch money out of my ass to pay them, the actual problem was the heater hose coming out of the engine core, my mechanic manager at ********* ********** said whom ever did it just put a Band-Aid on it which they cut the line and put a clamp on it and if you'll notice the date on the last invoice from H&D Tire Shop to the time I got it into Christians Automotive it was barely a little over a month and not even a half! I sincerely feel I should be refunded full amount from H&D Tire Shop I feel they took advantage of me and didn't know what the hell they were doing! Again sorry for the late delay but I will here is my attachments they may come in full page I'm not sure, if so I'm sorry!

It's been more than seven days and I have not received any payment nore have I heard from anyone! I should not and will not reach out to H&D Tire Shop since I have got you guys involved in this matter! PLEASE HELP IN THIS MATTER!
