1 year ago I bought an older model Honda from Enzo's Auto Sales. This year I have lost over $6,000 in payments and repairs on a vehicle I couldn't safely drive. I had problems with it as soon as I drove it off the lot and came back the next day to have a sensor fixed. Then it was having trouble starting so I took it in for that, and then I noticed how much it was shaking, and overheating when driving and when idling. Then one morning the car wouldn't start at all, and when I called AAA and had them look at it they said I should really try to get a refund because of how many odd problems it had. Enzo's did offer to check out these issues and even take back the car, but not before conveniently rescheduling and pushing off my appointment day over and over past New Mexico's 500 mile warranty, which was also reached because I had to keep driving back and forth to them in Farmington from Durango. After those first 2 weeks I finally took it to a mechanic I trusted who showed me all the things i didn't know to look for before, including the fact that one of the motor mounts was jerryrigged together with random pieces of plastic, and a bunch of the electrical systems had been directly wired to the battery and therefore had to be unplugged. I then spent the next 9 months working on the car with a mechanic friend of mine off an on when we had time, replacing the motor mounts, the tie rod ends (were literally about to break off), the cold air intake (which was ripped right down the middle) and a bunch of other odds and ends just to bring the car up to safety standards. Even by the end of it, it still had some mystery electrical problems we couldn't figure out, including still having problems starting, and not being able to get the OBD port to work. I'm not sure if the OBD port was an issue when they first sold it to me or not though. Eventually I was finally able to sell it a couple months ago to someone who had the means to keep working on it. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!
